Genosha (Civil war VII) Part 18

Alex Wayne POV

The Sentinels were tough, but under my attacks they were defenseless.

After finishing all of them, I realized that a group of people is heading in my direction.

His eyes seemed empty, it was as if they were puppets.

One of them surrounded himself with strong tornadoes, which he launched in my direction.

Seeing the attack, I didn't evade it and let it hit me.

Upon contact with me, the attack vanished without leaving any injuries.

All the Magistrates were shocked to see that the mutant squad's attack had no effect.

I walk towards these mutants and attack them, grabbing one of them by the head and smashing it into the ground.

The other mutants launched attacks based on fire, ice and electricity at me.

Undeterred, I receive their attacks, but each one is nullified upon contact with my body.

I quickly knock out all of them.

I don't finish them off, since I know they are not aware of their actions.

Seeing how I defeated them using the new capability of 'Imagine Breaker', I was surprised. What I just did is apply the function of 'Imagine Breaker' to my entire body which makes me completely immune to attacks from mutant abilities.

But it has a limit, five minutes have passed and without my doing it, the 'Imagine Breaker' returned only to my right hand.

I just sigh seeing that, seems like it's not my time to be an OP character.

In the building

Trask, David and the Jackal are surprised by Alex Wayne's abilities.

"It's really interesting, his powers are similar to Wipeout" a curious David said.

"You're right but there's something different about his powers, they don't seem as normal as they look" a thoughtful Jackal said.

"Yes, you are right, but if we manage to control his he would be a powerful servant" David suggested.

"No, he's still a mutant and he's dangerous, we have to finish him off" Trask said.

As I faced the Magistrates, I noticed that people began to come out of the tunnel.

I smiled as I knew they were the mutants that Jessica was setting free.

These mutants did not hold back and attacked the Magistrates with everything.

I knew this would be over quickly seeing this.
