Emma Frost Part 1

Arriving at Manhattan Psylocke, Laura and I decided to search for the current whereabouts of Emma Frost.

Psylocke said that Emma was in Manhattan 2 weeks ago since that was the last time she visited her here.

When we went to the place where Psylocke last saw her we were surprised by what we saw, the place was cordoned off and it seems that there was a big disturbance in this place since it is almost destroyed.

We decided to find out what had happened here.

After asking some questions of the local people, we understood what had happened.

According to the people of the place, a group of soldiers had attacked the place to capture a terrorist.

I knew it was a lie, they must have come to this place specifically for Emma.

The question is who captured her and why they did it.

Psylocke was the most concerned, knowing this the only thing left for us to do was figure out where to find her.

Psylocke concerned says:

"Follow me, I know someone who could tell us where she could be or who has her"

Leaving the place, we went to a bar which took us 10 minutes to get there.

Once there, Psylocke nonchalantly walks into the bar as Laura and I follow her.

As we move through the place we come to a table where around it a group of people are playing poker.

The people at that table are normal except for one.

That person is slim, with a relaxed smile on his face and brown hair, the most striking thing is the bo-staff he holds in his left hand.

Psylocke, without caring for the people around, tells that man:

"Gambit I need information"

I see, so this guy is Gambit. I just watched him with narrowed eyes, it's normal for me to distrust, in this world I've seen the Skrulls, it wouldn't be strange for Nathaniel Essex to exist and for Gambit to work for him.

Gambit tenses up when someone speaks to him. Looking up and seeing who she is, he relaxes saying:

"Oh, it's you Betsy, now I can't attend to you, I'm very busy" he said as he continued playing.

Psylocke, seeing his attitude, gets upset.

Gambit seemed to sense her anger and quickly ended the game.

We settled at another table to talk.

Gambit is the first to speak.

"So, what do you want Betsy and who are these friends of yours?"

Finishing speaking, he points to Laura and me.

Psylocke introduces us to Gambit and vice versa.

After the introductions Psylocke asks him:

"Do you know where Emma Frost is?"

Hearing her question, Gambit says:

"Oh, I see, you're looking for that woman, what I know is that the military has her in a very protected place on the outskirts of Manhattan"

"I don't know why she was captured, but I must tell you that you should be careful if you want to rescue her since the person in charge of her capture is a mortal enemy of the mutants"

"Who is?" Psylocke asked coldly.

Gambit sighing answers:

"It's General William Stryker"
