Apocalypse (The New Power of Genosha V) Part 9

Seeing Cameron Hodge in that state, the Leader says:

"You don't have to worry, thanks to the Jackal's serum I was able to create a powerful army"

When he finished speaking, the others look at the other boats, which are full of bipedal animals of different types such as rhinos, tigers, even sharks, etc.

"Fascinating but incomplete, not something that really interests me" Nathaniel Essex said.

Apocalypse doesn't say anything but just keeps looking at Genosha.

He can feel it, this country is teeming with mutants, from strong to the weak ones.

Apocalypse raises his hands, using his power the sea rises creating a great tsunami, which is directed to Genosha.

Nathaniel and the others see Apocalypse's actions but don't say anything.

When the tsunami approaches the coast.

On the coast of Genosha a large magical shield is created which blocks the tsunami.

Apocalypse raises his eyebrow at that. Looking carefully, he realizes that it wasn't mutants that blocked his attack but a group of humanoid machines.

"Those are the Sentinels, but those things shouldn't be able to do that" a confused Cameron Hodge said.

In that he was right, this new set of Sentinels are the brainchild of Riri Williams.

They are Sentinels with the capability to make use of the Mystic Arts.

When Nathaniel's group were looking at those Sentinels.

A group of Sentinels came out of the sea and boarded a ship occupied by beings from the Jackal serum.

The creatures immediately attack the Sentinels.

Detecting the enemy, the Sentinels begin their attack.

Some of the Sentinels cover themselves with fire and creating powerful flames they turn their enemies to ashes.

Another group turns their arms into spears and impales these creatures.

This happened in the same way in the other boats.

Seeing the slaughter caused by the Sentinels, Apocalypse says:

"Those things you call Sentinels are strong"

"Of course they are, after all they were created for the purpose of wiping out mutants" an anxious Cameron Hodge said.

As they were talking, a group of 5 sentinels also board the ship they are on.

The strange thing is that these Sentinels have different aspects than the others.

They are smaller than a common Sentinel, on their bodies there are lines that glow and run through their entire body.

"What the..."

Before he finished his words, Cameron Hodge was impaled by one of those Sentinels, quickly being killed.

The others are surprised, since that Sentinel is extremely fast.

Even Apocalypse felt danger seeing the Sentinel's actions, since even with his powers he couldn't see the Sentinel's movements.

While they are surprised, another of the Sentinels approaches Nathaniel Essex. Realizing that, he walks away from the Sentinel but the Sentinel still grabbed his arm.

When Nathaniel wanted to use his powers, he realized that both his powers and vitality were leaving his body, which horrified him.

This group of Sentinels belongs to the Legion Protocol.
