Alex no demon volume 4 chapter 9

Sorata was in a room inside the hide out as he was looking at himself in the mirror. While he was starring at himself he realizes that he has burn Mark's on his hands and part of his neck, sorata says to himself "Wow, I wasn't expecting third degree burns. I knew that my destructive energy burns me and takes out of me but I didn't realise it would be this bad. Oh well it doesn't matter" he then flashbacks to the time were he was about to hit kojin with the beast of destruction technique. Sorata cackles abit as he says "My destructive energy is purple in colour due to the intense training I've been putting myself on, not only that but its like that due to the massive energy that I build up. Since destructive energy is formed by heating up and releasing the energy within the body, mine is purple instead of black due to the intense heat and power I harbour, its something that not even kojin has". Blood then begins to drip out of his hand but sorata didn't seem worried nor fazed about it, as the blood was dripping, he smirks and says "Kojin can literally destroy an entire country with his full power. As an A-rank, its expected, that's the scale of power people on that rank have. I'm just on B-rank level but I have enough stamina and durability to go toe to toe with him. If I were to fight him at my full strength, I should be able to keep up and do some damage, that way I can win even tho tho the output of my destructive energy is limited due to intense draw back, I should still win." Sorata then covers his face with his hands with a smile of satisfaction on his face as he moans saying "Its almost been a month now. In a few days I'll get my payback at that prick who made me suffer. Ahhh I can feel it already." Meanwhile in kojin's office were alex and the rest of his friends were standing in front of kojin while he was sitting on his chair with a serious look on his face, kojin tells everyone "You all are well aware of what's happening aren't you? In a few days the world will have a war that will determine the fate of the earth and everything else. You guys need to prepare". Veronica who was standing beside kojin then tells everyone that this war isn't going to be a push over, especially the fact that it involves the dark sign organisation who are currently the most dangerous criminal organisations in the world. Veronica proceeds to say "At first there were ten members of the organisation, but most of them are currently dead and it's a good thing shinki, who was the strongest among all of them is also dead otherwise we'll have a big problem. Right now the organisation is lead by ukina who is also A-rank level and the master mind of this war. Aside from her, the organisation still has its heavy hitters like Kirihai who is currently one of the strongest female assassins and swords women in the world, kenji who was formerly from the iron country and has the incredible power to use fire and lightning and last but not the least the insane menace to society, sorata. He has destructive power unpar with kojin. All these people I mentioned are on B-rank level, which means they have enough power to level city and even mountains at their full strength". Kinto then asks "Um miss veronica, we cant tell if they are the only ones coming. What if ukina decides to bring other powerful threats like the shadow puppet that kojin fought a few weeks back, or an celestial being or maybe the divine beasts. She already has access to the dimensional scroll in which she can just summon beings from other dimensions". Veronica then complements kinto by telling him that he is smart as ever, she explains to him telling him that she will take care of ukina herself and that everyone should focus on the dark sign. She then says "Serena, sukuna and Raquel will take care of Kirihai, kinto is requested in the iron country to help fight kenji, while son will be taking care of sorata. A thousand shadow puppet will be sent to the city as well, we cant tell maybe the one's coming will be like the one kojin fought, so tobi, kazui and luck will stay back and the rest of you are going to take care of any additional threats". Kojin then says "I believe you all understand the situation now, dont you? Diablo usually takes care of threats like these but currently he is sealed away, the fate of the world depends on your arms. All of you are to go all out and not hold back!". Kazuki then whispers to alex saying "I guess we"ll be at the back lines of the fight since we dont have actually position here" alex then responds saying "I guess so. But out of all of us here, there is no doubt that we are the strongest here. Knowing old man kojin, he probably has a plan for both of us. Just watch", kojin then tells everyone "You all are dismissed. Alex and kazuki, you both are to stay back. I have a very important role for you both!" Alex then turns to kazuki with a smile on his face saying "I told you didn't I?". After everyone had left the office except Alex and kazuki, veronica tells kojin that the city's military group as well as the assassins will be going to the battle field along with the lightning country, country of raijin and iron country and that a thousand C-rank level will be left in the city. With each of those countries sending twenty-five thousand of their strongest soldiers and the iron country sending fifty thousand. As veronica exits, kojin tells alex and kazuki that they have a special role in this war. Kojin explains to them "I've been observing you both and out of all the B-rank's, you both have an incredible amount of strength and power unlike the rest. You both will be on the front lines of the battle field" alex and kazuki both smirk as kazuki says "Ofcourse we will, after all we both are the strongest", alex then says "We are ready for whatever wants to happen". Kojin then tells Alex that he will be training for a few days in a special place along with kazuki, he further explains to them telling them that he see's both of them as the only instruments of winning the war and that he will groom them to be the strongest. He then says to them "You both have incredible strength, the fate of this world is counting on you! From now on, you both will be know as the hell's duo".
