Just another normal day.

Turning the corner of a back alley they came across a robbery. Six men with clubs were standing over two faceless servants. With a quick scan of divine sense, Collin could see past their costumes, one was an older man and the other was around fifteen or sixteen. The two looked similar enough to make Collin think they were father and son.

Just as Collin was going to take Julie and move away, it happened.

"Collin, we need to help them." This simple sentence did two things, first it alerted the robbers that they were there, and secondly, which was the worst of the two things, it annoyed Collin. He was a cultivator, not a hero, if he ran around the city trying to help everyone, he would never have time to cultivate and would probably be found murdered in less than a week.

"Hey, you two, hand over your valuables or end up bleeding on the ground like them." As the leader of the robbers yelled his threat, three of the robbers began walking towards Collin and Julie. The three robbers had smug looks on their faces as they tried to look as intimidated as possible, but that changed the moment Collin spoke.

"Let the two on the ground live but kill the other six." The words Collin spoke were cold and uncaring, and for a moment everyone thought that Collin was speaking to Julie. And as everyone turned to look at Collin, some in confusion, some in ridicule, they saw it. The blood marsh raptor stood slightly behind Collin, its towering figure was twice his height and with its dark green scales glistening in the sunlight, it looked like a nightmare come to life.

As it lowered its body and began to charge the closest robber, it seemed to be smiling, adding to its terrorizing appearance. It closed the distance with the three closest robbers almost instantly, the robbers didn't have time to react as the raptor slashed out with its right arm. Its claws sweeping across the chest of a robber leaving a bloody mess behind. The robber fell backwards, dead, it was hard to tell if his ribs had been shattered into many tiny pieces by the power of the attack or if the raptor had ripped out the front half of the man's rib cage, but what everyone could tell was that where a human chest should be, only a bloody goo remained.

The second robber got over the shock of seeing his comrade die just in time to see the raptor cock its head to the right and open its mouth before they snapped shut on his head. Using its arms to hold the robber's body, it jerked its head decapitating it. As the now headless body sprayed the raptor with blood, the raptor lifted its head upwards and began trying to swallow its treat.

The third robber used the raptor's distracted state to launch an attack. He raised his wooden club high above his head and charged the raptor while letting out a roar. The club slammed into the hip of the raptor before it snapped in half, the robber took several steps back from the raptor staring at his now throbbing hands. The reward for his bravery came from a flick of the raptors tail, one moment he had head, and the next a loud explosion sounded as the raptors tail made contact with the robber's head. Blood and chunks of flesh were flung onto the two faceless servants and one of the remaining robbers.

The last three robbers began to run away, with a loud gulp the robber's head was swallowed, freeing the raptors attention. It lowered its head and began to run towards the robbers, quickly catching up. Spinning its body around one of the robbers was struck with its tail and flew into the nearby wall. The raptor reached out with its left arm and grabbed a robber's head while snapping its mouth shut on the waist of another robber.

The raptor lifted its head in the air and began thrashing its head violently side to side. The sounds of bones breaking in the robber's body could be heard over the screaming, till half of the screams stopped as the robbers body went limp. With one last head thrash the raptor opened its mouth and the body of the robber flew through the air till it hit a wall and slid down, folded in an inhuman manner. The other half of the screams soon turned into shrieks before stopping as the raptor closed its clawed hand crushing the robbers head into a bloody gooey mess.

The last robber was trying to not be noticed as he quietly crawled away. The robber had been slapped in the waist by the raptors tail and couldn't move his legs. The raptor turned and started walking towards the robber while making a clicking growl. The robber started to scream as the raptor placed its foot on the robber's back and began slowly pressing down.

Collin could sense a feeling of joy from the raptor as it tortured its prey. After a minute of hearing ribs breaking, the robber began to make gurgling noises before becoming silent. With its prey dead the raptor took its foot off the robber and began walking back towards Collin. As it passed the two faceless servants it made the clicking growl, causing the servants to huddle together, preying to gods that Collin had never heard of before.

Arriving near Collin the raptor began to make pleading expressions, begging for the bodies. This caused Collin to sigh, he wasn't sure that he should let his raptor get used to having humans as snacks this frequently.

"Put down the box." Julie had been in a daze as she watched the raptor easily kill six grown men. Collins voice had mostly knocked her back to reality. After she put down the box a red space bag had been tossed to her.

"Collect the bodies, since this fight was started by your foolishness, you can be the one to collect the raptors snacks."

Julie was slightly confused by what Collin had said till she saw the looks that the raptor was giving her. Unlike the looks of pleading and submission that it gave Collin, the looks the raptor was giving her were no different than the ones it gave the robbers before killing them. After a few minutes the six bodies had been placed in the space bag and the box had been picked up again.

As they were leaving Collin did expect the two faceless servants to request that their belongings that the robbers stole, be returned. But they just huddled against the wall not even daring to look up, they were afraid that they would be killed to eliminate any witnesses. By the time they did look up they were alone in the alleyway, the only evidence that the robbers were ever there was the splatters of blood and brain matter.

After returning to the villa, they were met with Valter and Viktor, and Julie began to tell the tale of the raptor fighting the robbers. The twins had guessed the raptor was a dangerous beast when they saw it this morning, but they had now realized they had far underestimated how dangerous it was.

"The raptor is at the 6th layer, so of course it would slaughter mortals with ease." Collin said to dismiss the awe that the trio was experiencing.

"From now on, when we are outside, in our costumes, you will refer to me as number one. Julie will be number two, Valter will be number three, and Viktor will be number four.

Here is the deal, I do not expect the older members of our clan to care what we are doing here, but, the younger generation, they will. There are a few that would love nothing more than to take this villa as their own and throw us back into the shacks to rot.

Now, come on. Julie bought some snacks from the market, after we are done eating, we are going to place some buildings, and you two are going to strip some bodies so my raptor can enjoy its snacks."

As Collin headed into his house, the trio were left stunned by what Collin had just said. Each time the thought of the raptor eating dead people passed through their mind their faces got paler.
