Dark Cult

Inside a luxurious room.

A middle-aged man was sitting with a solemn expression on his face. He had an aura of authority around him. His hair was neatly combed with eyes that looked very calm but it also gave a sense of mystery. He was wearing a golden shirt and white full pants. He also has a black mustache and beard on his face.

His name is Bill Jolly. He was also the current City Lord of the Blackrock City.

" Have you found the dark cults looming inside the city?".

The captain of the security department Blaze Firebird said in a serious tone," Of course master. I also led the men to do some investigation and found the team leader behind the scenes was an Alchemist ".

Bill's expression became a little ugly and he asked," Are you sure Blaze?"

Blaze began to sweat when he heard the city Lord's words. So he immediately replied in a slightly panicked tone," Master I am sure as I used the tier 2 truth potion".

Bill also felt that his subordinates wouldn't make such a low-level mistake so he said," So who is the leader?".

Blaze took a deep breath and said," His name is Jason Woodlore".

Bill's eyes widened and he grabbed Blaze's collar and asked in a somewhat loud tone," What did you say?"

Blaze immediately replied in a slightly shaky voice," Master please read the full investigation details. As the matter is a little complicated".

Bill released Blaze's collar and he also felt that he had lost his calm. So he said," Give me the report".

Blaze hurriedly handed over the report.

Bill took the report and began to read it. And as he read his complexion became gloomy to the extreme.

He immediately said in a low tone," Go and gather your team. Also, don't alert anyone about it".

Blaze immediately ran away as the pressure given off by City Lord was too terrible. He felt suffocated by staying there.

While Bill who read the report said to himself in a somewhat sad tone," Those dark cults must be wiped out of this world or else soon this world is going to be chaos".

As in the report, he read he found that Jason Woodlore had been devoured by a dark cult leader and so now he was using his identity to impersonate him.

The worst part of the dark cult belief was that they worshiped a Monster God who had invaded this planet. The god would grant its believer a devourer skill that the members of the dark cult could use on any person and after killing them they could use the skill to directly absorb skills or even professions which was only in rare cases. Not only that they would even gain some amount of memories of the person they kill.

John who was making Alchemy suddenly heard a loud voice," Bill Jolly what are you doing in the Alchemist Association?".

John was stunned and he ran out of the building only to see two people flying in the air. Seeing this he had an envious expression as only tier 5 people and above could fly.

At this time Bill said in a sullen tone," Master Andrew, please move away as there is a dark cult believer disguised in the Alchemist Association. Also, we don't want him to Espace so please give us a way".

Andrew was stunned and he touched his long white beard and said," Are you sure".

Bill's expression became gloomy and the mana around him began to fluctuate.

Seeing this Andrew immediately said," I hope your words are true. Tell me the culprit's name".

Bill immediately said," Jason Woodlore ".

Andrew immediately took out a token and said," Confine and expel Jason Woodlore".

As soon as he said a naked person appeared in front of them.

Jason who was immersed himself didn't know why he had appeared here. But looking at the president of the Alchemists association and City Lord next to him he felt bad in his heart.

Before he could even say anything to defend himself, his mouth was opened, and then Andrew dropped the truth potion that he refined himself. Then he asked," Are you a dark cult believer".

Jason's replied subconsciously," Yes".

Andrew's expression was full of anger and then he continued to ask," Who are the other members who joined your dark cult?".

Jason's mind was foggy and he began to spit out names one by one.

Andrew then looked at Bill and said," If you want to ask any more questions feel free to do so".

Bill nodded his head but his back was already soaked in cold sweat. Fortunately, the members of the dark cult relaxed so it was easy to catch him.

In the next second, he waved his hand toward Blaze and said," Interrogate him".

Blaze came forward and began to ask for several more information related to the hideout, etc.

After he recorded everything Bill said," Master Andrew we have finished interrogation".

Andrew nodded his head and his expression was also not good looking. As a dark cult had even infiltrated the building he needed to inspect everyone.

In the next second, he took out another pill and put it inside Jason's mouth.

While John who looked at the pill felt his body go numb. He had recognized that the pill was Millenium Pain. This pill was very bad as it directly paralyzed the whole body and they couldn't even mobilize any mana in their bodies. And they would feel the pain throughout the whole body.

After eating this pill death was only the biggest relief for them.

Andrew immediately waved his hand and hung Jason's figure on top of the building he said," Anyone who is from Dark Cult will face what this member is facing".

Then he stopped and said," No one is allowed to leave the Alchemist Association today. Only after you all have been checked can you leave this place ".

Saying so he immediately summoned the guards and then he crushed the pill into powder and waved his hand and it flew towards the guards. He then asked," Are you a member of a dark cult".

But no one came forward seeing this he was relieved and he used the same process to check the entire Alchemists association he found two more people and they both tried to commit suicide but they were both stopped and they faced the same punishment.
