"Roar!"

Entering the territory of the Regal Mammoth, roars of the monsters could be heard through out the place, the vibration of the ground could also be felt.

The members of the Iceforge guild had their all body tensed from this scary environment, well, most of them were the newbies but the veteran ones were relaxed and looking around with amused expression, they even teased the newbies when they saw their scared expression.

Tanaka is also smiling as he entered the valley of the Regal Mammoth, it was such a cool place, it was covered with mist that made it impossible to see far ahead and there are also the sound of monsters in the surrounding which made it feel like a horror place.

*Boom!

One of the rocks from afar suddenly exploded and everyone immediately turned their heads towards the place, due to the mist, they couldn't see much but they could still somehow see a shadow from behind the mist.

It was looming over them and its eyes were glowing.

"Everyone get ready! tanks in formation!! rear prepare to attack!"

Hosaka, who was the acting leader, immediately commanded, she was a proficient commander and everyone listens to her. Immediately, they started moving and only took 5 seconds to form their formation..

"Hmm, a little slow than I thought"

Tanaka who moved to the sidelines to watched commented, they seemed much slower than when they were in SAO, probably because the numbers have gone up and there are also some newbies around but what Tanaka didn't like is that even the veterans were a little slow.

Tanaka noted it down and just after he noted it down, the entire valley shook once again and just as everyone was waiting, a vast movement came from behind the mist.

A huge pillar came out from the mist and fell before the tanks.

*Boom!

There was a loud explosion as the huge pillar fell upon the tanks, the ground shook showing how powerful it was.

"Heal the Tanks, eagles give us info!"

"Yes!"

The priest at the back line started chanting and the books they have started glowing.

"Report! due to the mist we can't see what it is but it seemed to resemble a nose of an elephant!"

"An elephant?"

Hosaka immediately realised what they were fighting and could not help but turn to Tanaka who also looked at her and gave an innocent smile, Hosaka couldn't help but sigh, this monster is far above them, but she knew they can't back out from this.

It didn't take long for the mist to clear a little bit and finally they saw the appearance of their opponent.

Standing tall probably bigger than Eiffel Tower, A mammoth with a skin of a tiger appeared, it has 2 long noses, and many legs, it also has wings on its back and a huge belly.

"A regal mammoth!"

Everyone couldn't hepl but exclaim when they saw the stats of the Regal Mammoth, it was just far too powerful for them, but they didn't panic and awaited for orders.

"Its powerful alright! but unfortunately we can't back out or the one will kill us is the Guild Leader, I will prefer fighting this monster more than getting beaten up like a kid by the guild leader"

Hosaka spoke and chuckled of her own remarks.

"Haha, I second to that"

A voice also replied, and followed by another and another until everyone in the group steeled themselves to face the regal mammoth.

"Its coming again!"

The regal mammoth moved once again and raised its huge noses before slamming it down towards the tanks.

*Boom!

"damage dealers attack! tanks keep the aggro!"

The battle then started, the hunters and mages started bombarding the regal mammoth with their own attacks while the melee tried their ways to get close to the regal mammoth and attack, the supports behind started spamming buffs and heals and also drinking a lot of potions to keep their mana up.

Tanaka who watched from behind noticed the powerful figures of the guild, first things first is Hosaka, even though she was the second in command, she was not behind when it comes to fighting, she have already climbed up the regal mammoth and started attacking.

Well, that was expected since Tanaka taught them, and Hosaka is part of the secret division so this kind of strength is expected, what caught Tanaka's eyes next is a newbie, it was a guy that came from china, also a former professional pc gamer but retired and chose to enter the VR world.

"If I remember correctly, his name is Ye Qiu? or was it Ye Xiu? man, their names are confusing"

His name is Ye Xiu, he was proficient in many weapons but he preferred to use spear, and this newbie actually got the unique job quest that the Iceforge guild explored last time, it was a unique job called battle mage, it was a destructive class that combines spells and weapons to maximize its damage output.

And in Ye Xiu's hands, it became more powerful, Tanaka also remembered that this guy came to ask for his advice a few times, most of them is about gaming and some things to improve his skills.

"I want to put him in the secret division but he is much fitted in the main army"

After Ye Xiu, was the veteran Thinker, he was one of Tanaka's assistant, the closest one after Hosaka actually, he was the main tank of the guild and was powerful, even though he is a tank, he deals a lot of damage.

There are also a lot of notable ones but they didn't really caught Tanaka's eyes, anyway, Tanaka looked at the health of the regal mammoth, it has been 30 minutes since the fight started and the regal mammoth has its hp just drop to 80%, pretty slow actually.

But Tanaka didn't care about that, instead, he turned his head towards the mist and what he expected came.

1 more regal mammoth have joined the fray.

"Let's see how these guys solve this predicament"

Tanaka smiled.

Yeah, anyway, the Asgard Arc will be a little rushed as I said a few chapters ago that i can only go for max 70 chappys, and the ending might be rushed like The Hidden Village fanfic, but I will try to go for an open endings guys.(I actually know no shit about it)

Anyway, that is all, I will probably rest for a week after I finish this fanfic. Then I will publish the Almighty Video Game Developer. Thanks for staying with this lazy author <3
