25. “Ouch!”

Shawn

"Are you sure about this?" Agatha asked me for a hundredth time today about my dinner date with Megan.

I exhaled "You're my assistant, it's not your job to meddle with my relationship."

"I know, but it's my job to prevent you from dating a crazy woman. Trust me, Shawn, her mood swings are unique. One minute she's smiling, the next minutes she's scowling."

"Agatha, don't be ridiculous. I've known Megan since I was young, our families are friends, and of course, I know about her mood swings."

"You do?" she asked surprised, she's been following me around since I came back from my morning run "And you're okay with it?"

I stopped walking and drank the bottle of water in front of her, staring intently at her anticipating face "Yup. So shut the fuck up." I moved her out of my way and walked through "And Agatha, it's okay not to come tonight. Do what you have to do."
