'I am alive?' My vision was still blurred and my thoughts were messy.

'It's healed?' I placed my hand on my belly.

As if answering my question, I recovered my vision and saw the blue windows on my face.

My body didn't finish healing yet. I looked around and saw a lot of holes on the ground, the fight was pretty intense and I felt proud of myself.

From what I can understand, vitality refers to the speed I can recover, strength is the amount of force I can produce, agility is my speed and flexibility.

'The doc taught me a lot of useful stuff, maybe I should make a grave for him. Wait... Did he really die? The whole lab exploded but I never saw his body so he may be alive... Whatever'

Then I felt a burst of energy all over my body, it was amazing. I could feel my body being improved, my senses getting better, my wounds healing faster and my vision could see further.

After some time, my injuries healed enough to stand up.

"Woa!" I stood up but I couldn't walk properly, the changes in my body were too great and I needed a little time to get used to it.

I became happy a new mission appeared. But I soon became depressed by the absurdity of the quest. It wanted me to level up to level five but I can't imagine how long it will take to level up even once. 70000 was just too much.

I went to grab my stuff, and I noticed my spear broke in the battle. I needed a new one so I started running to my little base. I wanted to test my speed. I was way faster than before, my legs stronger and more agile.

Reaching the place, I grabbed some spears, food, and ropes.

'I will stop hunting rabbits, they give too little exp. I need to find a place with stronger monsters'

I went searching. First I tried to leave the purple forest, but strangely I couldn't find my way back to the canyon. Every place I went was purple, the trees getting bigger and bigger, it seems that I was entering deeper into the forest.

The forest was getting thicker and denser, the sunlight couldn't penetrate the leaves anymore, and it was darkening in the middle of the day. When it was completely dark, little bugs started to appear from the trees, and they shone a yellow light.

The dark purple forest looked beautiful with all the little lights flying within it. The bugs reinforced the fact I was in a new and unknown place.

After some time walking, I found a new monster. It was a giant frog, three times bigger than a moon rabbit. I approached and pulled my spear.

Slowly, I went to the back of the frog. I was really skilled at sneaking behind monsters at this point. Then with all my strength, I slashed my spear at the frog's leg. The leg was severed and the frog couldn't jump anymore with just one leg.

'That was out of the plans' I didn't expect to sever the leg. I just wanted to wound it. I still wasn't used to my new strength. Then I pierced the head of the frog killing it.

'Its more than the rabbits but it's still far from enough'

My hunt started, using the trees to move faster I searched for more frogs. I hunted until I was too tired to continue. The problem was finding them, they walked alone and concealed themselves in water puddles but I could still find them so it was way better than hunting rabbits.

Hunting them will get easier when I get the soul imprint for the scanner, but I decided to not overload myself by hunting all the fifty frogs needed and started to look for someplace to make a base as I checked today's results.
