Against the World: The last Monapart

No one with the name Monapart could ever use magic. But no Monapart ever cared about it. They were always the strongest of them all. Each one stronger than the last. The world couldn't accept their existence. When the strongest Monapart died, they swore to never let another one get stronger again. Every human, beast, and demon would be killed at the mere mention of the name... But time passes, and soon, they forgot. "Curses...Curses... The fucking curses! They were the rage, the fear, and the embodiment of someone's will, so why?! Why all of them are made to kill everything?!" Said the first Monapart. But the curse in front of him didn't answer, it just stared at him smiling like always. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- When he was born, he didn't cry, nor made any kind of sound in the process, but no one cared for him enough to notice. After just two days of life, he opened his eyes. An unusual thing as babies usually need at least a month to do so. His green eyes moved wildly looking at every corner of his room with deep curiosity, but not understanding anything in his view. He still couldn't understand the concept of 'thing' yet, but that changed after one month of life. After one month, he understood he was alive and most of the things in the room weren't. He still couldn't put it in words but he clearly knew that he was way different than the chair next to him. The speed of his understanding was outstanding. Sadly, in his sixth month of life, while he was asleep, flames covered his entire room and himself. It didn't take even a second and all the room turned into ashes. The baby didn't die as expected, but he was no longer in the dark room. [ Curse received: Heart offering ] . . [ Heart offering: Once per day the curse bearer will lose one of his five senses until he loses everything or dies ] . . [ Heart offering is taking effect ] . . [ Sense of hearing lost] ----------------------------------------------------------------------- -At least one chapter of 1000 words a day -If you don't like the start, I guess chapter 21 is a good one to jump to but you will still feel a little lost -If you find any error, please comment on it and I will fix it -I hope you like it

House Building

Some months passed and Lili didn't like to live in the forest at all. She hated the bugs, the sounds at night, and all the dirt.

At first, she was curious and liked to hear Alexander explaining everything to her but she couldn't take it anymore.

Alexander realized she was having trouble and knew she wanted to meet her family no matter how much she denied it.

"Are you sure you don't want to go back?"

"Yes!! Now stop asking me"

She went to the beach and started swimming. She liked doing it to cool down if she got mad.

The sea was the only thing she liked about living in the forest. But even if she went back, she could teleport here anytime so it wasn't really a good reason to stay.

Lili tried to push herself to stay with Alexander but she couldn't, after a few days Alexander decided she had to go back.

"You should go back today"

"Why?"

"Look at you. You shouldn't be here, you clearly can't live in the forest and your family is there"

"No! I won't go!"

Alexander sighed and looked at her seriously.

"You shouldn't sacrifice so much time just to stay here with me. I'm fine, I can survive alone, don't worry. You need to spend time with your family. You never know when, but things can happen and you may never see them again"

"..." Lili felt bad after hearing his words.

They looked at each other for a while and Lili finally gave up.

"Okay, I'll go"

"Good"

"But you're going with me"

"I would love to, but your mother will kill me if she sees me again"

Alexander didn't know the effect his blood had. He thought Shira only had a weird obsession with him and now that he defied her again she would surely kill him.

"You are way different now, no one is gonna recognize you"

"You forgot that I'm human"

"You don't really smell like one anymore"

"Are you sure? What about my eyes and teeth?"

"Not every vampire has red eyes and no one goes around checking your teeth. You just have to not stand out and you will be fine. If they find you, I will quickly teleport you somewhere far away from here"

Alexander didn't fully believe her but he may just be overthinking.

*Sigh* "Okay, I'll go"

Alexander was weaker than ever, he couldn't escape if they found out about him. It was reckless and stupid to go somewhere just because she wanted him to go, but he couldn't bring himself to refuse the little girl.

"Yay! Now we need some clothes"

Lili spent a lot of time making clothes while she was trapped inside her room, she destroyed some her mother brought her and made new ones with what was left.

The clothes he was wearing right now were made by Lili as well. She picked leaves, flowers and vines then made clothes. They weren't good but it was better than Alexander's torn clothes.

Lili wanted to make proper clothes so she teleported somewhere and brought enough to make proper clothes.

Alexander saw her powers and thought if there was some kind of limitation. Why did she want him to go with her if she could just teleport to him wherever she wanted?

Lili put a lot of effort into his clothes. Alexander didn't care how they looked and thought she didn't have to work so hard on them.

"Are you done?"

"Almost" Lili said while cutting his hair.

"Is this really necessary?"

"Yes, they will find out you are human if you don't let me cut your hair properly"

"That doesn't sound right"

"And... It's done" She was satisfied with the haircut, he looked cute.

"So, can we go now?"

"No, I have to dress up as well"

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

A few hours later, Lili teleported them inside the city avoiding passing through the city's gates.

They were inside an abandoned house Lili claimed to herself in secret through the years. The house was at the far corner of the city which made it quite isolated.

"I'll stay here while you go to the castle"

Lili looked at him with reluctance. Alexander was small and young now. He lost the seriousness his voice carried when he looked older.

"Stay inside and safe okay?"

"Sure"

Lili was still worried but eventually, she gave up and teleported to the castle.

Alexander was alone now. He looked around the new place. The wood on the walls was rotting, the ceiling was full of holes, the doors fell if he tried to open them, and the windows were completely destroyed.

Alexander saw the destroyed house and thought about fixing it. But he never lived in a proper house before so he didn't know how to do it.

'How do I even start?'

He needed to know how it was built to repair it, at least that was what he thought.

He went outside and there was a mini house in the backyard. It was the house's warehouse. There wasn't anything useful inside and the wood was rotting as well.

He studied the walls and the ceiling trying to figure out how it didn't fall. Soon, he started testing things out and removing the wood from the walls to see more clearly how it was made.

After being satisfied with what he knew, he needed some materials to work on to try repairing or building some stuff.

He couldn't leave the city to get wood since he couldn't do it without Lili's teleportation.

He needed to find wood inside the city. He doubted he could destroy someone's house to get it, but he assumed other houses would need repair as well so there should be a place where people can get it.

He left the house to look for it. He walked on the streets looking around.

It took a while until the first vampire appeared, but he didn't interact with Alexander and walked past him. Alexander eventually saw more and more people as he walked.

He wasn't looking to talk to anyone so he ignored everyone and they ignored him the same way. It was quite strange, Alexander thought people would talk more with each other considering how many of them are in the city.

To Alexander, this place had a ridiculous amount of people.
