Eighth chest
"Hah... Shit, this is more complicated than I thought."
Kayla breathed heavily as she approached her fifth chest. Altarf was still behind, lying on the ground after crossing her fourth chest, which had left her especially bad.
She probably experienced something similar to what Kayla had suffered in the second chest. Some chests, rather than directly inflicting pain on them, used more subtle methods to make them suffer...
Although those subtle methods were more tortuous than simply causing them pain.
But Kayla quickly turned her head away from Altarf, she had more important things to do, like endure the tremendous pain that the fifth chest would cause her.
Although she had passed the third and fourth chest with relative ease, as they were pains that she had already experienced. The first is being crushed alive and the second is being eaten alive by ferocious animals.
