Chapter 1 The Gods Council

"I'M GOING DOWN THERE TO KILL THEM MYSELF" a man in white toga and leather sandals said as he stood up from a chair. He has blue eyes and brown hair.

"Relax zeus" another man said in a deep masculine but tender voice. He had long black hair, well trimmed beards, small dark brown eyes. He wore a long white dress that had slits on the side for easy movement, and a black trousers, with brown sandals on his feet.

"Relax. You want me to relax," zeus said in anger, "they did it again. Curse their godlike intelligence, how are they able to come up with those kind of bombs, they decimated an entire country with just one of them, those cyclops must have helped them"

"They are pretty intelligent even without the help of the cyclops" the man in white gown said with a smile.

"What are you smiling for JC, the last time you went down there they killed you." Zeus said,

"That was a personal sacrifice, the allfather would have ended them if I hadn't paid for them." JC said

"Even the allfather agrees that they should die, they are a vile race and their greed knows no bounds."

JC sighed, "my sacrifice was enough to buy them freedom for eternity."

Zeus rubbed the bridge of his nose in frustration.

"I could flood them,..... again" a man in blue hawaiian shirt, and short khaki shorts. He has black hair, gelled backwards and sea green eyes He held a bronze trident in his hand. "It worked last time, humbled them for a few centuries"

JC slapped his forehead, with his palm, "the all father promised never to do that again ever,"

"Or hail, like we did to those two cities, what were their names again,.... gomoree, sodun" zeus said stroking his beard.

JC sighed even more in frustration. "Where's Buddha, he'd back me up on this" JC said.

"The allfather sent for him" another man said. He had blonde hair, blue eyes like zeus, he wore a white and black track suit, he held a six feet tall caduceus. Which is basically a long staff with two snake coiling around the top, with two wings on the top, he wore a winged gold helmet, and winged track shoes and had a bag slung over his shoulder. "I'm usually the one he calls for messages, what's with him calling Buddha all of a sudden." He said with a frown.

"Well then we won't act until the allfather reaches us himself, okay." JC said.

Not long after their discussion, a fat man walked through a pair of double doors that led to the room these gods were in and stood before them or should I say floated before them. He was fat and short, about 5'3, he had plump earlobes, and a small black jewel on his forehead. He wore white kasaya robes and sat in a lotus position while levitating.

He spoke in a deep divine voice, similar to that of JC, but his carried a certain weight with it when he spoke. "The all father, has decided to let cosmic energy flow into the earth and recalibrate it." Buddha said with a smile on his face.

When he said this the eyes of the others widened in suprise. Except JC, he had a smile on his face, "aahh finally he has decided to let humanity evolve."

"What do you mean?" Zeus asked, "you've been taking with the all father JC?" But JC kept quiet and relaxed on his seat with a wide calm and playful grin on his face.

"He said it is time for humans to evolve. This tragedy that they have brought upon them selves have made them become more wise." Buddha spoke, "the all father has been observing them, and has come to the conclusion that this great tragedy will make the rest of humanity unite. As we all know other advanced worlds have had their eyes on earth for a while now, but because earth is a low level planet we as its guardians and gods have stopped the invasion, but we can only interfere so much, as that goes against the natural order of things."

"I wouldn't even get involved in the first place, if they Bere to be eradicated." zeus snorted.

"Please let me Finnish speaking brother zeus," Buddha requested calmly,

"I'm just saying, haven't we had enough babysitting these children ..." Buddha waved his hands slightly and zeus' mouth closed and only muffled could be heard, "please brother zeus do not disrupt the peace of this meeting. If you will sit down and let peace settle in your heart, the seal will be lifted." Zeus had no choice but to sit down, folding his muscular arms.

"Now, where was I?" Buddha asked "oh yes, the all father has decided to allow the earth evolve into a second tier world, by allowing cosmic energy bring it back to life, washing away the effect of the radiation so that the current humans will be as healthy as they need to be. How devastating humans can be to themselves, the effect of their very own weapons on themselves is quite..... tragic, for lack of a better word." Buddha sighed.

"Humanity will be allowed to recuperate for maybe five hundred to a thousand years, by then the ban will be lifted and it will be open for invasion and a chance for humanity to fight back. So all the all father asks is a little more patience with humanity." Buddha said with a smile.

"It is about time they evolve, besides I'm sure the remaining surviving humans have learnt their lesson" JC said.

"What about you Poseidon?" Buddha asked the man with the trident.

"Are you sure I shouldn't flood them?" He asked again?

"No brother poseidon" Buddha responded, Poseidon sighed.

Buddha turned to Hermes, the guy with the caduceus, but he shrugged. Then Buddha turned to zeus. He still couldn't speak. Zeus looked around the room then closedown his eyes in resignation, then he spoke "if it is the will of the all father, then so be it." Zeus said.

Buddha smiled, "see brother zeus, a little willingness for peace and patience is all it takes to be free sometimes."

Zeus smilled back with small sigh.
