"Are you happy to marry me?" he asked. His two hands grabbed July's hand which was lying on the table.
July smiled. "I should be the one asking that," said July.
"Why?"
"Are you happy to marry me?" July repeated David's question.
David nodded quickly. "Of course I'm happy. Very happy," replied David. "How about you?"
July has not yet responded. July was silent for a moment as she traced David's face. A few seconds later, July started to say. Not answering David's question, but another word.
"Don't you want to ask why I wanted to marry you in the first place?" asked July.
David shook his head. "No. I don't want to ask about it at all."
"Why?" July's face looks flat.
"Because I already know the answer."
"Is that true?" July glared. "So what." July is certainly very curious.
"All because of Alex," David replied. "You only made me a man to take revenge on him. Is that right?"
