"You're a good child. If Ji Jingchen gives you trouble in the future, come and look for grandmother. If you don't have enough money, come and look for your grandmother too. I am old, and it's not certain how many years I have left. If you have time, come and accompany your grandmother more often, okay?" Grandmother Ji was clearly a sensible person.

"Of course. You will always be my grandmother," Du Jiuyuan was stunned for a moment and muttered.

"He won't make things difficult for me." After knowing Ji Jingchen for so long, Du Jiuyuan was very clear about this matter.

The two of them chatted for a while, completely ignoring the group of people at the entrance of the emergency room.

Du Jiuyuan nodded, stood up, and walked to the door. Then, she turned around and bowed from the bottom of her heart.

"Good child, go! You must come and visit grandmother more often." The old lady waved her hand, and in an instant, she seemed to have aged several years.

"You were the one who forced me to marry her back then, and now you're forcing me to get a divorce. Am I that easy to manipulate?" Ji Jingchen's anger grew stronger and stronger as he spoke in a cold tone.

"If you were obedient, would I have to go through this?" The old lady knew that he was blaming her for helping Du Jiuyuan, so she did not get angry with him.

She was already so old, yet she still had to worry so much for him.

"Grandmother, you know that I don't want to divorce Yuanyuan, so why do you still want to help her?" Ji Jingchen could not figure this out.

Grandmother's attitude was not like this before, so there must be a reason for this sudden change.
