Chapter 4 A Special Divorce Gift
Soon, Simon returned and handed Zayla an ointment.
"Remember to apply for the medicine on the back of your hand."
It turned out that he saw the bruises on the back of her hand and bought medicine for her. But why? Was it a carrot-and-stick move? Had Simon forgotten that Zayla's injury was caused by him?
"I am really touched." Zayla sneered.
"Since you're touched, why don't you think about it again? Don't regret it."
"What do you want me to think about? Do you want my other hand to be injured?"
Zayla's tone was a little sarcastic. She even threw the ointment into the trash can in front of Simon.
"Zayla, what do you mean?"
"It slipped off my hand."
"Heh." Simon's eyes were cold, and his face was gloomy. "What a silly woman!"
