Special chapter

Nolan walked up to the door hearing the door bell. a little surprised as he wasnt expecting anyone. he grabbed the door a little late as the person kept ringing the bell.

It annoyed him. he got a splendid surprise as the person that stood in front of him was rebecca. "Am i her servant or something? why should i keep track of it?" she walked in without any furthur explanation since she was very tired and exhausted. 

She sat on the sofa in the living room. nolan went to the dining table that could be seen from the living room. "no, like really without any explanation, she was blaming me." 

"not blaming me but she was asking me as if it was my responsibility to look after it."

nolan was a little astonished as rebecca never complained about anything and seeing her burst all her anger and explaining to him was making him smile.

He grabbed a red wine bottle pouring wine in two glasses as he listened. he walked in with the glasses and sat across her. rebecca gave a confused look as he puts the glass in front of her. "do you wanna talk? he asks giving a hint that he has time to listen to. 

rebecca keeps drinking and complaining half of the night and nolan kept smiling as he listened to her childish fights with teressa. 

Sometimes they even burst into laughter. nolan was drinking his first pour yet and rebecca was already drunk with the whole bottle. 

Rebecca puts the glass on the table and then keeps her head rested on the sofa facing up. nolan had already been a lot amused this night and this drunk side of rebecca, he's in love with. as the night passes by he keeps feeling lightweighted and frogetting about earlier incidents.

Nolan was taking his 7th sip from the glass. he didnt think it would be wise for both of them to be drunk. especially when he has started to catch feelings for her. but his gaze, they were set on her piecing eyes. 

Suddenly rebecca spoke up,"nolan, why did you do that?"

"do what?"

"why did you give up on teressa?" he knew why but did not have the guts to even tell a drunk rebecca. so he replied with a smirk,

"i guess i realized that you exist." causing her to smile a lot. she looked really beautiful when she smiled. more like a perfect glowing star. she replied, "nolan?"

"hmm?" he liked it when she calls his name since most of the time they were together they couldnt call each others name.  "i think i-" looking down with a dizzy head spinning she tried to say.

"Im listening."

"like you." heartbeat getting fast more than rebeccas sprint. nolan felt his head get heavy even with so little drink. he thought to himself, lets risk it all then. 

He stood up, putting his glass on table. "fine. lets do this then." he walked up to her, kneeling and gently tilting her already tilted head with his hands. he slowly leaned in with his gaze fixed on her soft pink half parted lips. the red dim light only made it more romantic.

The sudden kiss gets interrupted as she stops kissing back. nolan moves his head back as he realises she passed out cuz of the drink. putting a slight smirk on his face he gets up. 

Nolan stands by the window ,staring at the stars with a drink in one hand and other in pocket, wondering if what he feels is right.
