Chapter 5: Aeraki's Wits Are Tested P1

Sterlig, another particular lifeform Aeraki bumped into while looking for the Aeon that had recently hatched from its pod, she clarified some information rather easily.

Sterlig:

[Ok, kid, the first step to learning to perform a Linking Ritual is to awaken your Soul Circuit, I will "shock" your circuit awake.]

Aeraki:

[Eh? How exactly would you "shock" my Soul Circuit awake?]

Sterlig grins as she makes her way behind Aeraki, she takes notice of the two bulky oxygen tanks on his back, she pouts, this throws off Aeraki slightly (That was not the reaction I was expecting.) he thinks to himself.

Sterlig:

[Is there any chance you can remove these things off your back?] she says in a sweet tone of voice.

Aeraki:

[Mm? Does it matter? Besides I need them for oxygen.] in an unsteady tone

Sterlig:

[I need a view of your upper back to shock your circuit awake!] in an excited tone.

Aeraki hesitates to heed Sterlig's request, he relents and the tanks fall off to the ground, Aeraki is holding his breath from within his helmet. Sterlig presses her palm on Aeraki's upper back, he felt a powerful pressure pushing forward, he falls forward to his knees, even releasing his breath and trying to catch his breath, he struggles so much to breath that he even removes his helmet, he crawls away from Sterlig to a nearby palm-tree, he tries getting back to his feet but his mind starts losing its grip on reality, everything starts spinning and he falls to the ground once more.

He sees Sterlig making her way towards him from a vertical view, he looks up as she crouches to him. she gently whispers in his ear.

Sterlig:

[My, those are some interesting peepers ya got there. I hope you can make it to the event before the 3 sun cycles end, good luck!]

His mind is slowly losing its grip on consciousness, as he sinks further down, a stream of memories rapidly floods by. In his drool covered delirium, he utters one word amidst the groaning, "mother" his eyes close.

"Hello?" echoes across a deep black void, it's Aeraki's voice he says "Hello?" again but with his voice raised, again nothing but echoes, the sound of a beating heart grows ever louder, Aeraki is panting, he can't see anything, he yells "Hello?" again but without his composure, his demeanor has shifted, he is panicked, looking around and again it's all still dark, the sound of pitter pattering feet on a hard floor are heard, coming closer to him, "Hello?!" he yells, "who's there?!" he demands to know who is coming towards him but he can't see, he turns left and right continuously and frantically, trying to see if he's just asleep, a cold feeling contacts his back, he's freaked out, the feeling wraps itself around his body and this uneases him further, he's sniffling, the tears building up he tries to fight back.

*Blub Blub* The sound of bubbling echoes, the pitch black vanishes as a greenish- blue color starts to present itself, with air bubbles passing through his vision heading upwards, a low whirring sound can be heard from the left, it's as if you're opening your eyes for the first time. "Sir, t... .u..e.. h.s ..ak.n.d" "what is going on? Where... am I?" the voice of a young boy thinks to itself, one glance down and two much younger palms can be seen, beyond the greenish-blue screen there appears to be a bunch of lights, one figure brings itself to the forefront, all that can be made out are two piercing glowing lights staring back.
