Adventure Time: The "Good" Guy

In a tavern whose infrastructure was entirely made of a dark colored wood. Various shady figures drank mugs filled with cheap beer. It was a stereotypical tavern that had its brainless ruffians, manipulative snakes, treacherous adventurers who try to grasp treasures outside of their filthy hands reach.

But one person stood out from the bunch he seemed to be a Male but due to the dark robes that adorned his body aswell as a bandanna that covered all but his deep crimson eyes, that seemed to glance at the various patrons with disgust. Yet something that was peculiar was the shape of his body it seemed unusually small compared to the various other races almost frail in comparison, there also seemed to be a book shaped item hidden beneath his robes around his wast area. The man beneath the robes sat at the bar table where the bar tender stood, he passed the bar tender a few golden coins and asked him various questions all pertaining to some rumor about a human named Finn.

The man walked casually passed the various patrons paying them no heed as he made his way to the doors. He then pushed open the doors continuing on his way to wherever his destination may be.

[POV Nate]

'I suppose it's time I investigate these rumors about this Finn, if these rumors are to be believed then he's a human just like me.'

'I wonder what he'll be like, maybe he'll act like some hero, or maybe he'll just be someone who's just really chill and likes to explore the world. Maybe he'll be one of those pure hearted people who give everything to help others even at their own detriment.'

'I suppose we'll see if those rumors held any weight, once I go to the ice kingdom. From what I've heard its ruled by some crazy blue skinned old man, who has a penchant for kidnapping princesses.'

I unclipped my grimoire and then proceeded to open it using it as a catalyst to begin the formation of a glowing pentagram.

"Heed my call Razal Ael and do my bidding."

A large gargoyle like creature with skin that was an emerald green. It had two blood red eyes, two horns that curved back a tail with a spade at the end, four sets of draconic wings on it's back. Two fairly bulky arms with razor sharp nails at the end of each one of its fingers. The demon bowed its head begrudgingly kneeling before the youth.

"Why hath you summoned me?" The demon asked getting straight to the heart of the matter.

"I need you to give me a ride to the ice Kingdom and I need to be there soon as possible." I told the demon what I needed it to do. The demon had a look of irritation on its face as I reduced it to nothing more than my personally transport.

Razal Ael extended it's fairly giant hand out so I can stand upon it. And then he began to flap his four giant wings and took flight allowing me to gradually see the whole village that I had stayed at for the past few nights. I watched as we passed Vast fields, the forestry I watched as a far larger dark feathered predatory bird in on clean sweep snagged a smaller red and black feathered bird and instantly snapped. I watched as wolves that were abnormally large viciously tore apart a whole herd of normal looking deer and began their feast. I watched all of these scenes play out yet all I felt was boredom.

As I saw the same acts of violence out necessity, I began to feel my eyelids grow heavier, I felt myself feeling more and more tired; Slowly everything became black.

Until it wasn't right before my eyes was a woman with beautiful blonde hair, and smiled at me lovingly while she looked down at me with her exhausted gaze. When I looked at her I could see the turmoil as she handed me a little baby that looked very similar to me yet he had eyes as deep as the ocean and I slowly got lost in the innocence within them. I felt intrigued and I wondered what was he thinking in this very moment.

Yet I was forced to break eye contact with the infant against my will I began to turn around and head towards a make shift boat of sorts.

"Nate wake up! We're here!" Demonic echoey voice called out to me snapping me out of my trance.

My eyes instantly snapped open and what met me was the moonlit sky. And when I looked around there was nothing but snow and an ice like mountain. I felt a pang of sadness being awoken from that dream every time, just for a moment I was hopeful I'd wake up to a family. Yet I knew it would never be the case...

'But Finn is bound to be interesting if he is a human like me.'

"Razal Ael get me near the entrance of this supposed castle, so I can finally see if these rumors had any merit."

The demon followed the command without a word not wanting to alert the ice king. The closer and closer we got to the ice kings lair the more excited I became to finally meet another human. Around a minute of slowly flying, I was finally at the entrance.

And I heard the sound of an electric keyboard and drum set playing. I obviously took advantage of this and entered. As soon as I walked in I saw....

Well hopefully everyone enjoyed the first chapter, I'm hoping you guys comment on every chapter so I know if it turned out decently. anyways I'll make sure to write more of this and other stories if people give me their thoughts because I usually think my stories are really bad.
