In E-23, it's been over 30 days since Theo last heard from the goddess. Life has been a mix of fun and bitterness. Ethan's body is almost fully recovered. Theo hasn't mentioned Astra to anyone since that day, so everyone assumes his mental health has improved too.
But then, their normal life is shattered by a piece of news. An investigator arrives to see him. "It's about Article 475," the investigator says.
"Yes, Sir, I know. I'm one of those people. I don't remember anything either, which is why I wanted to talk," Theo explains.
The investigator tells them it's a very complex case. Around the world, almost 100 people disappeared on the same day. They were all inside their homes, and there wasn't a single trace of them left behind—no CCTV footage, no fingerprints, no evidence at all. After three days, they all reappeared as if they had never been gone. "We've looked into it, but we haven't found anything," the investigator says, sipping his tea.
