Chapter 1 - A new Beginning

Darkness.....Complete and utter darkness

I can't feel my body

The last thing I remember was laying down on my bed.

Light is that light 

I asked my self staring into it 

" Young lord!!! Young lord !!! " a voice echoed in my ear ,

' Young lord ? Who is that ' I thought to myself. I could feel my weak body

i tried opening my eyes but it was far too heavy 

 ' Young lord !!! ' the voiced echoed again

" So loud " I muttered. My eyes shot wide open as I sat up on the bed 

The scenery Infront of me was different

" Where am I ? " i mumbled to myself

" Young lord Your awake !! , You had us all worried ! " The unfamiliar voice said

I looked at the person that was talking to me , An old women maybe in her late 50s dressed in a maids uniform stood next to me 

" Wh-who are you !!! " I questioned her 

" Young lord are you feeling well " She ignored my question

" Young lord? " I questioned again

" Why are you calling me that ? "

The women eyes widened " Do you not remember who you are Young lord ? " her voice filled with concern

" Please tell me your name !" I asked

" My name is Elizabeth Melvin Head maid of your estate " She answered immediately.

My mind went blank for second as I remembered a novel I read when I got bored ' Did I . Did I really get reincarnated to this world . If so that shouldn't my name be . Julius Embilden ' My grin caught the attention of the maid next to me

" Is everything alright young lord " She asked

" Everything fine I just have a slight headache , I want to be left alone for awhile ' Please don't let anyone inside " I requested of the maid " Of coarse " She answered with a slight bow and walked out of the room .

I stood up dragging my weak body in front of a mirror , i looked skinny as if i had not eaten anything for days , i did not feel any strength from this body even though the Embilden family is known for its great strength 

In the novel I was killed by my older-half brother . No I wasn't killed I was tortured to death. I was forced to see my mother and little sister get killed Infront of me.

I clenched my fist and let out a little laugh " Lucius Embilden this time it will be very different "

Getting out of bed I walked to my balcony that looked over the south side of the kingdom " What a pain it will be to adjust to this situation " I muttered to myself .

The day passed as I tried getting used to my new body . It was frail as it felt as a sudden gust of wind will knock me off balance . it took sometime but i was able to adjust to the body

I walked through the hallways of my mansion making my way to the kitchen .

" I need to gain some weight please make something suitable " I asked the chef's as I walked in " Yes Young lord please wait at the table " I nodded slightly before making my to the dinning room

A long table suited for many guests stood across the room with just one chair that was designated for me . ' What a lonely life you have Julius ' I thought to myself as I sat down. 

The maids set down the plates of food Infront of me. Even I couldn't believe my eyes as different types of food was slowly being laid in front of me. , For me what I seem like an instant as the food that was presented Infront of me vanished . I could clearly see the surprise on the face's of the maids .

After having eaten more than i had ever in my life I stood up and left the room at made my way to my room 

I sat down on my bed as I thought of a way to become stronger . In my other life I read many novel and comics. This world wasn't different from most of them . In this world magician use mana and knight's used aura . Mana was achieved at birth and aura was gained by training your body and mind. Embildens weren't bound by this law . Each child was born with Mana and aura. The most impressive one was my older-half brother Lucas Embilden. I am 2 years younger than him . Julius Always envied his talent Even though Lucas cared for him. i pondered in my thoughts before falling asleep

Days passed as I continued my routine of eating and sleeping to gain weight and those days turned to weeks and weeks turned into months.

3 month passed by I was surprised, None of my siblings nor my mother came to visit. It didn't sadden me at all , i feel guilty for feeling as such but I can never see them as my own family, I am someone who doesn't belong here.

I stared at my reflection as my wheat brown hair that grown to my shoulders and golden eyes stared back at me. Placing hand on my face a thought appeared on my mind

" I should start training " I said to myself 

Grey Hargen.

A knight that is in my protection unit. He's said to be one of the strongest aura user's in the imperial guard , That was the reason Julius selected him in the first place. 

" Lord Julius . You summoned me " He gave me a bow. " Yes I did. " I answered " I know of your abilities , you know how to use aura more effectively and better than all other Knights , Correct ? " I looked down on the knight who's head is still lowered " Yes , My lord " his answer was simple

" That is good , Grey Hargen would you help me develop my abilities " I asked the knight . His eyes widened and his lowered gaze lifted to see my face " A-are you- " I cut his off with a raise of my hand " Yes I am serious about this "

The knight let out a little smile " It would be an honor lord Julius " The knight said proudly. " Are you ready for it lord Julius . My training will be hard " The knight warned " Don't worry i know " I let out a slight smile.

6 months passed by as I was training. I still haven't heard anything from why family. Grey's trainings regimens were severe. But with the training from him I developed my aura and created my mana core. I polished my hand to hand combat moves that I copied from another novel I read back in my past life. It contained as slight and fast movement of the body that Peirce the pressure points.

Grey eyes stared at me as I practice my unique fighting style doing his best to hide his amazement before letting out a cough to catch my attention.

I stopped and wiped the sweat of my face before looked at him " The lord has asked for you , lord Julius  " Grey said bowing his head slightly " Father ? I wonder what he wants " I asked myself " It seems the lord is interested in your sudden change of mind of train " Grey said.

I let out a annoyed smile realizing that Julius was a lazy bastard . " I see " I said in a low tone.

" Prepare for my departure , i will go wash myself " I told grey as i walked away
