chapter 1: unknown god (aether's flashback)

Oct 24th, (2 months after Aden arrived in Teyvat) 8 am

Paimon: "So... what you're trying to say is that you fell here. From another world? But when you wanted to leave and go on to the next world... Your path was blocked by some unknown god?

Aug 24th, (2 months ago: before Aden arrived in Teyvat) 7 am

We had arrived at our location after a long travel to other areas in this land. Both I and my sister started looking around the area we had arrived in and we could see 11 pillars in this location. and before me or my sister could investigate further we both saw a flash of red light from the sky as it opened up. looking at the portal. I could see someone stepping out of the rift and revealing herself to both of us.

???: 'Outlanders your journey ends here". she said as she summoned something with her hand. looking to my left I could see Lumine stepping forward as if she started to respond.

Lumine: "Who are you? she asked while wanting an answer to her question.

??? "The sustainer of heavenly principles. the arrogation of mankind ends now" she said as a cube formed in her hand moments before it glowed and grew in size.

Seeing this both me and my sister jumped out of the way as we were avoiding it since she wanted to trap and encase the both of us in there.

Soaring up in the air. we both brought out our swords and flew towards her. as she raised her hand and summoned her powers onto us.

As we flew towards her we began to dodge the large pile of cubes that were flying towards us in the process. as we did that we decided to fly through the area to shake off the powers she had unleashed on us as if they were guided missiles.

Looking at her we both decided to charge towards her as we drove the cubes into each other causing an explosion thus losing the things that were chasing us just seconds ago while we readied our swords as if we were ready to strike her down.

As we were ready to attack her she raised her hand at me as the cubes were making their way to me. and before they could reach me I backed away from it since I knew that it would be the end of me if I was caught by those things. just as I got out of the way my sister ended up getting caught as the cubes covered her right arm witched did not end well for her.

Aether: "Lumine" I called out as I reached my hand out to her with the worried look on my face. and to my shock and horror, the cubes had encased and trapped her inside as they returned to her hand causing the small cube to turn yellow.

looking on in shock. I decided to fly towards her as I was ready to begin my attack and get my sister released from the cube. flying behind her I began to make my planned attack as I started using my power towards her so that way it can strike her down with the power and force of the impact and blow that I was ready to use.

As I looked at her she turned and looked at me just as I unleashed my power causing an explosion to go off in the process. as the smoke cleared I knew I had my plan come into play and work perfectly for me. big mistake.

Looking up I could see the explosion that I caused was getting pushed away from her and was starting to head towards me. watching in horror I could see that my hand was trapped in the cube that she had started to create when she absorbed the explosion.

Looking up at her. I knew that it was the last thing I would see before I was encased as well.

aether: "wait don't go. give my sister back." those were the last words I said before everything went dark! And just like that. The god took away my sister. Some kind of seal was cast upon me, and I lost all my power. So while we used to travel from world to world. we are now trapped here.

Oct 24th, (2 months after Aden arrived in Teyvat) 8:01 am

As I finished telling Aden and Paimon my story while drawing in the sand I began to continue what I was saying.

aether: "How many years ago was it? I don't know... But I intend to find out. When I woke. I was all alone. until I met you both 2 months ago," aether said as he looked at Me and Paimon.

Paimon: "Yeah Paimon really owes you and Aden for that, Otherwise Paimon likely would have drowned." she said to aether as she remembered back to where she was fished out of the water by both Aden and aether as she continued. "so Paimon will do her best to be a great guide". she finished

Aden: "and you should be lucky that you did not take my head off with that sword or it would have ended badly for me." I said as I remember finding aether passed out ashore when I got here 2 hours after I arrived in Teyvat.

Aether nodded as we all smiled and watched the waves wash onto the shore that is until aether spoke up.

aether: "Aden"

Aden: "yes" I responded as if I knew what he was going to say.

aether: "Can you please tell me what brought you here in the 1st place?" he said as I looked at him since there were a lot of events that have happened to me in the last months.

Aden: "long story but I can tell you a part of it because what happened to me before I was here is a lot to unpack" I explained as both Paimon and aether looked at me in shock as if they were curious.
