"Okay, so drinks.. Kane should be free after his training. But we're not drinking loads because he has work in the morning hunny" I tell her because Kane will freely want me to have fun but I need to make sure he's good too. Like Corey said; I need to be a good influence on him. His fighting is too important and I respect that.

"Do I get to come along.. you never know what kinda chocolate I could meet" she says with dreamy eyes making me smile as I reach our building and I haven't been back since Olivia drugged me. I hope I don't have to see her. But I'm not afraid to put my fist straight into her face.

"So meet me at Squares. 7pm" she says when I reach my room and hugs me.

"Yes! We'll be there babes" I tell her giddy as I open my door and look around inside. I hate it here. If I never had to see this place again.. I'd be happy.

"Wear something hot, hot, hot!" She says and I roll my eyes at her and smirk.

"I'll see what I can do" I tell her because she knows better than anyone.. I don't wear 'hot' clothes. I'm a fucking book nerd. I don't wear hardly anything and go out half naked like everybody else here.. no offence to them.

"In fact I have just the dress for you" she says rushing down the hall to her room and disappearing inside.

I walk in dropping my bag on the bed and opening my tiny wardrobe that's overflowing with everything except what I want. Need.

Sighing, I shut the doors, and pull my buzzing phone out.

"Hey handsome" I say instantly smiling hearing him as I grab a bottle of water from my fridge.

"Hello angel, are you finished?" He asks and I hum as I drink some down.

"Yep! Lisa wants us to go out. Do you have a nice friend?" I ask him and he chuckles.

"Corey. You want him?" He says and I laugh sarcastically.

"Corey has a girlfriend remember? I may like the bad boy instilled in you but.. nah-ah to him.. cheating" I tell him and he hums.

"Plus she keeps talking about chocolate men.. that's her type" I tell him with a smirk as I sit on my bed waiting for Lisa to come back.

"Hmmm, I got just the person.. Yoo Dion, come" he calls to someone and I'm wondering who this Dion is. Is he nice?

"You wanna grab a drink, meet someone" he says and I hear this Dion hum.

"Who.. is she hot though bro?" I hear him ask and Kane laughs and I wish I could see his face now. His reaction..

"You'll have to wait and see bro" he says and I hear Dion laugh like Kane did something and I want to see what it was.

"You think Lisa's hot?" I just say it.. After Lisa thinks he is.. well kinda..

"What? No! You wanna friend don't you?" He says and I sigh.

"I'm sorry, it's been a long day Kane. The test kicked my ass hard" I tell him sighing and running my hand through my hair as I drop my head forward.

"Are you sure angel? I'm coming to you now" he says as I hear a door slam closed and the outside world through the phone.

"Yeah. I do miss you though baby" I tell him feeling fucking needy but it's happening and I can't take it back now.. I don't want to.

"I miss you angel and that's exactly why I'll be pulling up in five" he says as I hear his car door slam shut and the engine roar to life a moment later.

Lisa appears at my door holding up two dresses and I smile at her. She's the best too.

"Can't wait to see you! I'll be out in a sec" I tell him getting up to feel the material and choosing the little black bodycon with its cutouts at the sides.

"Okay beautiful, I'll be in my usual spot" he says and I grin excitedly.

"Okay baby, bye" I tell him and hang up hearing him pull off and I smile happily again.

"I take it he's coming, look at that face!" She teases and grabs my cheeks like I'm a two-year-old making me laugh batting her hands away.

"Yes hunny so I need to go and I'll see you at Squares" I tell her taking the dress she holds out to me maybe I should really go shopping. I can't keep borrowing Lisa's clothes. It's a joke. But I love her for it.

"Okay babe, I have to cram in a little studying and I'll be getting ready, so I'll see you later" she says and I nod smiling and hug her.

"Okay babe" I tell her folding the dress putting it into my bag and following her out of my room locking it up behind me.

"Bye!" I call out as I walk down the corridor and look out the doorway seeing Kane instantly as he's standing next to his Range making me smile wide.

I push through the door and walk straight into Matt. Great.

"Where have you been hiding, pretty?" He says and I instantly cringe at the usual nickname and step backwards towards the door again holding my bag tightly. He never used to make me cringe. He never used to call me them names. He was just my friend, but recently.. he's started to make me feel uncomfortable and he just doesn't get it.

"I've been busy Matt, I need to go" I say and go to step around him but he grabs my arm stopping me I tug it away annoyed ready to tell him to back off when Kane's suddenly next to me and I don't even see him approach.

"I suggest you don't touch my angel" Kane warns wrapping his arm around me and pulling me closer making me smile and breathe normally again.

"So you free up for some random man but not me.. After everything I've done for you" Matt says pissed and I'm quite shocked. What the hell!?

Kane doesn't hold back though as he lets go of me and his fist moves fast towards Matt's face and he's connecting instantly, dropping Matt to the floor holding his nose and Kane steps back into me, wraps his arm around me and looks down at Matt.

"Breathe in Cleo's direction and you'll get a lot worse" he threatens and spits his saliva down at him and walks me towards his car, kissing my temple and I weirdly smile feeling protected by my night in shining.. bad boy.

"How long has he been bothering you?" He asks when we reach his car and I shrug but sigh after starting to drop my head but he's instantly lifting my chin.

"If he even looks at you, you tell me angel" he says and kisses me wrapping me up and I relax in his embrace.

"I didn't expect him to be like that. He was so nice just.. a little weird" I tell him and he pulls back a little and looks at me.

"Drive and I'll tell you" I tell him and he hums and opens the passenger door for me helping me up.

I drop my bag between my feet and Kane climbs in behind the wheel and pulls off quickly.

"So it started my first year.. he wanted to help me and I thought that's all it was. Yes, I was stupid and naive but I genuinely thought he was a nice guy" I start when he looks at me like he is waiting.

"Then he started to text me.. a lot, along with emails and leaving notes in my box. He'd ring me so many times a day that the girls thought he was my boyfriend. He became slightly obsessed and I had to tell him to back off. I didn't like him in that way and I only wanted to be friends" I continue and he hums as I see him gripping the steering wheel harder and I rest my hand on his thigh.

"Then the girls begged me to go out one time and I finally gave in and he was everywhere I turned. I couldn't get away from him and Olivia actually told him straight and he disappeared for about a month. Then he popped back up again so I told someone at the university and they said they'd talk to him but clearly, he doesn't care because he's still here.. bothering me. Then I met you and he kinda disappeared again and then now.. hopefully you scared him off permanently" I tell him as he pulls up in his drive and I love how close he lives to my uni.

He turns to me and he looks like he's about to rip through something or someone.

I turn climbing over the middle and into his lap making him drop his arms from the wheel and wrap them around me.

"I thought I was handling it. I thought he'd gone and that's why I didn't mention it" I tell him honestly not wanting him to think I was hiding it and he rests his forehead on mine and I breathe him in and smile feeling myself relaxing in him.

"Let's hope he got the message this time angel. He doesn't wanna feel what I can do to him" he says and I nod slowly understanding what he means.

"Let's go inside baby" I tell him running my hand over his short hair before I glide it down his neck, making him grip my hips and kiss me forcefully. I lose my breath before he pulls back.

"You're the most precious gift of all" he says to me and hands it over. I take it with shaky hands and look up at him seeing him nod for me to open it.

I do so slowly and gasp when I see the beautiful sapphire diamond bracelet sparkling at me and I look back to him surprised.

"Oh my god! It's stunning baby" I tell him feeling my smile getting bigger by the second. He reaches into the box, taking it out and I place the box on the dresser and hold out my left wrist to him. I watch as he fastens the clasp and turns it looking it over before kissing my hand and smiling at me.

"Beautiful, just like I knew it would be" he says and I grin at him feeling the sting behind my eyes as my emotions build over getting a gift for the first time in my life.

"Thank you so much baby. I appreciate the thought more than anything" I tell him and wrap my arms around him hugging him tightly to me.

"I went out today, I couldn't just walk past the store without looking inside" he says and I bite my lip feeling happier than ever as I pull back from him and smile.

"Now, you're ready to go angel" he says looking me over again and kissing me as he takes my hand and leads me out of the room.

We made it to Squares in an Uber quickly and I saw Lisa instantly in her olive green very short.. short skirt co-ord and she hugged me tightly before looking me over with the biggest smile.

"Check hottie" she says and winks at me making me laugh.

"Yoo!" Kane suddenly calls out and waves someone over, yet I can't see anything through all the people coming and going and I smile at Lisa.

"A chocolate man.." I wink at her and she squeals excitedly and looks around faffing with her long red curls.

"You look gorgeous babe" I tell her and she bites her lip and looks behind me and I wonder who she's looking at. I turn and see Kane big fist some guy - who's definitely Lisa's type - before his arm goes back over my shoulders and I lean into him smiling.

"Dion, Lisa.. Lisa, Dion" Kane says to them introducing and Dion licks his lips as he looks her over and he obviously likes what he sees and Lisa's blushing and it's the first time in my life I've ever seen it. Shit! Wow!

"Hello beautiful" he says and I look up at Kane grinning.

"Let's get some drinks" he says and walks us past the long line of people holding my hand and nods at the doormen who let us straight in. How? Why?

But Kane can definitely come out more often.

Squares is always been our favourite place to go. The music always has a vibe, the drinks ain't too expensive and the atmosphere is amazing. Plus, it's beautiful in here. The whole black and gold effect sets the place nicely and whoever owns the establishment, did epic. I'm impressed.

Kane walks over to the bar and the bartender must notice him because she's straight over with a flirty smile on her face and I clench my jaw for some reason. Smile all you like hunny. He's still mine..

But when I look around the club and see all types of girls checking him out.. it kinda irks me. Is this how his fights are too.. girls ogling over him before and after wanting to have what's mine.

"What's wrong babe?" Lisa asks in my ear and I pout at her.

"Everyone watching ya man!" She coos pouting back knowingly and I nod slowly and she awws me loudly and hugs me to her.

"He's hot, I told you but he only has eyes for you. You know this don't you" she says and I nod again as she pulls back and grins at me.

"But Dion, ooofff! Definitely some of me. Thank you so much!" She says like I handed her a blank cheque but I smile at her anyways. I'm happy she's happy.

"Have some fun babe" I tell her as I feel an arm go around my waist and I'm assuming a vodka orange held in front of me and I take it turning my head to see my baby smiling at me.

"Don't worry about anything angel" he tells me and I don't know if he heard my conversation or he means my drinks being paid for, but I smile up at him either way.

"Thank you baby" I tell him and he grabs my jaw bringing my lips to his and kissing me affectionately and tugging on my bottom lip playfully before pulling back and smiling.

"So is Dion from the gym or?" I ask him hoping he's actually nice like I said and he smirks.

"Well if you looked at him you'd know angel" he says and I raise my brow at him.

"You want me to actively check out your friends.. okay" I say shrugging one shoulder and smirking, playing with him and go to turn away from him to see what he does and.. he nearly snaps my neck the way he whips my head around by my chin back to him.

"Don't even think about it, angel. You know exactly what I meant" he says raising his brow telling me he's deadly serious but the smirk playing on his lips tells me he's playful and I bite my lip and tilt my head.

"I seen him baby and he's definitely Lisa's wet dream come to life, so thank you" I tell him turning to face him more and wrapping my arms around his neck as I press my body into his and his arms go around me as his hand go to my ass and squeezes as he licks his lips looking down at me.
