CHAPTER EIGHT
Werewolf - Gustav
It's the constant thudding sound that makes me stir.
My eyes slowly open, and I see only darkness. For a moment, fear seizes me, and then I realize that something is just blocking the light.
The disgusting smell of trash makes me scrunch my nose and I push at whatever is on top of this box I'm in. However, it doesn't move. My eyes narrowed, I ignore my throbbing head and push again. However, it doesn't work. It looks like I am properly boxed in.
I tap the side of what is clearly a garbage bin. The material is industrial metal. Unsheathing my claws, I slash at the metal. It takes me a couple of minutes to actually begin to see some impact. Finally, I manage to make a hole, enough for my hands to push both sides open. Ignoring the screeching sound as I bend the metal to make a large hole for my body to pass through, I see the rain falling on the ground. It takes me half an hour to actually climb out. But as I do, I hear something else.
