Page 37- _Carnivorous Elegance_

Chasms of intelligence presented themselves before Rintaro and a placard above, black gold designs flagging the first year's second best class, 1-A.        'Here goes nothing," she muttered, slowly stranding one weak hand with a light bang on the door. Her pathetic knock couldn't acquire a single bug's attention, let alone an entire class, or so she thought. Maybe there was an exception to loners, sitting in a corner while reading some book.  

      'What!?," once frail now beastly hands, squeezed the life out of her squinted golden eyes.

   'Isn't that the queen whatsoever Sasaki, alone in a corner!?".  She surveyed room A, taking an interest in the unusual atmosphere around. Everyone sat in groups of three, busying sore jaws with endless ideas for the festival. Although seemingly distant of the masses sat _miss perfect_, cooped up near a window. Immediately, her studious strained eyes loosened, picking a broad glance at a nervous girl by the door. In the clutched instant of doubt, her mind instinctively knew what to do.

Slowly her steady toes ambled to the door,  perfecting ways of a silent assassin, as they tiptoed completely robbed of sound. Whatever luck held her end, Haruno was head over heels for it, noticing how nobody turned a glimpse toward their stealthy idol.

Rintarõ.... _Sasaki right?, i was hoping to have a talk_

Sakae.... _What a coincidence! so was i miss Haruno. Oh and call me Sae._

She thought twice before answering to the name, miss Haruno. Her mind recollected a well known memory, but scattered moments after staring into the young lady's clear bright black eyes.

Rintarõ.... _Oh you know me!_

Sakae.... _Of course i do. In fact, perhaps it results in your lack of social skills, but you're quite popular around here, especially among third years.  The only girl who's ever held a casual conversation with almighty Seigi, when nobody from his fan club ever does._

A faint hint of animosity flared up Sasaki's fleeing dead wink, signaling Rin to change the ship's course.

Rintarõ.... _I see. (I don't like her) Anyway, i wanted to ask a favor from you._

Sakae.... _I'm listening..._

Rintarõ.... _Well, the chosen nominee for our class rep happens to be a friend of mine. And to put it bluntly, she's not good with pressure points from unfamiliar faces. So, i was wondering if i could take her place instead._

Suddenly, the strange girl's corners curved into a bright grin, which to Haruno, pushed a chilly breeze.

Sakae.... _Oh wow!, I cannot begin to express the ecstasy swelling up within. I've been meaning to bring up a request for the student council.  'Allow miss Haruno to assume Aigasaki's rep position". But i retained my desirous idea, in regard to your friend's feelings. The thing is, i was hoping you'd take the position instead. You pick quite the fine redeeming qualities. Face, confidence, not to mention acknowledgeable intimidating air, strong points of a true leader. I personally....._

Her majesty suddenly stopped, forking out horror from a tightened mouth.
