Page 29- _Pitch Black Plea_
'Make her snap out of it!," furiously hissed Takahiro, irritated words hidden behind his shut mouth. Gnashing teeth sparred a grotesque show, callous wintry look exempted for the president. Bit by bit his fingers bent a fist, pissed veins bulging on an evenly fine hand. Betrothed to interest, Rintaro adeptly chased the sight of Satoshi moving down the stairs. Caged in the fleeing glimpse, she could've sworn nabbing a measly smile, instantly reverting to its usual icy lifeless smirk. 'Maybe he's not so bad," she said, quickly turning to dispel her friend. Chills slid down her back, Hiro now united alongside Keisuke flagging soul-piercing glares.
Quarrelsome weasels they transformed into, minutes after getting dismissed by the first period bell. Senami and Akamaru walked in front, plastered with jealousy and fury trickling down their princely faces. Both their finer handsome points vanished, masked by feral frowns, nothing but bad business for their popularity.
Rintarõ.... _You know you shouldn't have done that right?_
Merumi.... _Mhmm....?_
Rintarõ.... _Don't pretend like you don't know what you did during the assembly. Takahiro was staring at you with cold eyes. I thought you guys were dating so why make him jealous?._
The so called friend shook an uninterested head, and continued upstairs. Efforts at eluding Rin's scrutinized analysis, yet all she attracted was a more prickling squint.
Merumi.... _Ok ok, i'll tell you all of it from the beginning. Although there's not really much to tell. But please don't get mad afterwards._
Haruno nodded with a corner smile, honesty pouring out her inquisitive broad eyes. She was intent on listening alright, maybe because she considered it as a drug, perfectly meant for curing her too normal life.
Merumi.... _Do you remember the day we went to the night festival over our break?, well, that's where it began. After i left you by the gate, i started looking for that young boy Takami. A while of tiring searching later, and i still couldn't find him. So i thought of taking a short break at the Takoyaki (Grilled chicken sticks) stand. That's when i ran into Takahiro, all alone looking up the sky and seemingly tired._
*FLASHBACK*
Aigasaki snuck up the lonely prince, convinced he wouldn't notice, leaping seconds later when he gently said, 'Beautiful aren't they?." She gasped, looked up and noticed the agreeable fantasy. Earth's impeccably marvelous black blanket, clear of disturbing smoky tenants, and furbished with bright tiny distant crystals.
Merumi.... _Ah Takahiro! Yep they sure are. Uhm..., where's Kiyo?_
Takahiro.... _We separated at some food stall intersection looking for troublesome Takami, where she also told me to buy candy floss._
His face gleamed with sparkling drops of sweat, attaining raced streams on his forehead. Pitch black holes under the dark night, he turned and popped up the question.
