Chapter 12

Page 116- _Winter's Uproar_

'This oughta pay off as hard labor!," yelled Rintaro pummeled by a thick cherry jersey, brown scarf, coral pink gloves and a crimson gifted knit cap. No kidding the sky flitted on cue with the winter season. Hazy fog, sea of dark clouds, and a dropping temperature of 12 degrees. Nothing screamed winter chirps like the sound of grinding teeth, quavering hands, and shivering jaws.

To the left was quiet smiling Ai, protecting her body with a scarlet knit cardigan. No thanks to mounting pressure at home, the boys were already gone.

Two weeks had passed since the last encounter with _miss perfect_, never having seen her again. But they couldn't spare free time to process, already diving into the second semester final exams dilemma, only a day after.

Each one had to cram a load of general knowledge all the while dealing with concentration issues. Thank the heavens Koniaki had a library for group study sessions.

For someone who was announced before television, and a school which held the nation's attention, days seemed to pass by strangely normal. No one cornered the school groups with cameras or ambushed Haruno for an interview. In fact, things continued more quiet than before, or perhaps too quiet.

No thanks to the unusual turn of events, careful worried guardians declared their children should come home early. And as the last day of exams ended, prince Keisuke swiftly rode his car as did prince Takahiro. To the girls, it was more sad than it was quiet. Unfortunately, there was no way to vent their frustration, mastermind behind their terror vanishing each time an exam ended.      If this was her new school life, then all dreams Rinny pondered on would perish. Something she ruled out to the likes of pests, ever since her recent status with dream boy.

Both tiredly ambled over their car shades, spending seconds with jovial jokes. Almost to a tipping point, some shiny black limo flew by Rin's body, meager inches away.

'Evaded a ticking clock from the other world," she thought, smacking her slightly good mood with relentless insults. Following her startling moment, a bee-buzzing horde of cameras flooded in, along came one white van labeled "Kikuchi Works".

A halt in time resonated with ongoing events, witnessing KAZUO, greatest journalist of all time out the sliding van's door.

Deafening cheers drew from luminous blinding glasses, heavenward of the third floor.

'What's going on!?," mumbled Rintaro, still tinkered to gaze up the dozens, clinging to windows while others popped out their main entrance double doors.
