Vaughn walking with tense body through the forest and eyes searching around for any enemy hiding in the dark.

Adding to that, was the surrounding, it was very silent, not even a wind was passing by. Experiencing this, Vaughn can't help but tightened the hold on his sword and place the shield very close to his body.

Then suddenly while Vaughn was walking, his senses alert him of incoming danger coming from his back! Vaughn immediately turn around to see that a creature was pouncing toward him with mouth wide open and fangs that looks like a dagger.

Seeing this Vaughn immediately move to the right and dodge the creature's bite.

Whoosh

The creature pass through Vaughn's left side very fast! Fast enough to create a whooshing sound in the air.

Thud

The creature landed on the ground turn its head towards Vaughn and stare at him with cold blooded eyes. Being stared at, Vaughn also stare into it and figure what was the creature sneak attack him.

" It's a snake!! But it's tree times bigger and longer than a normal snake!! Thankfully my skill warned me of this shit!! Without the skill maybe I've been swallowed whole by this sneaky bastard." Vaughn said and grateful to the skill he learned when his four attributes reach the 50s, sharpened senses was the name of the skill giving him sharp hearing, sight, touch, taste, smell and instinct.

Vaughn position himself in a defensive stance with shield in the front and sword vertically placed above the shield pointing towards the big snake with black scales covering it's whole body and tail that looks like a spear. " Inspect!!" Vaughn said wanting to know how strong the creatures in this area of the forest.

" Level 9? Three levels above me, this part of the forest looks promising, hehehe." Vaughn said while forming a smile flushing the nervousness he felt by entering this area, now his body feels good and craving for a fight.

Staring at each other, the snake test the waters by thrusting its tail to Vaughn. Vaughn seeing the tail closing in a second choose to block it with the shield to measure the strength of his opponent.

BANG.

Blocking the tail, Vaughn was not push back and even not retreated a step meaning the snake's strength was not high but the shield cracked when it meet the spear-like tail. Seeing this Vaughn immediately slanted the shield and deflect the tail aside.

Vaughn put the shield in his back then hold the sword with two hands while lowering his body to dash at the snake.

The snake seeing this pull its tail and thrust it again at Vaughn, Vaughn only dash straight and dodge the simple thrust of the snake even though it's very fast for the normal people.

SSSSSSSSSS!!!

The snake make a hissing sound and brought it's thrusting tail sideways to slam it towards Vaughn. Vaughn surprised by the sudden tail sweep jumps in the air to avoid being hit by the huge tail of the snake.

Thud

Dodging the tail sweep and landing in the ground Vaughn continues to dash towards the snake and close the distance enough to jam his sword deeply inside of the snake.

When he was reaching close to the snake, suddenly the snake close it's big mouth and inhale large amount of air. Seeing this weird action of the snake Vaughn wants to speed up to reach the snake in an instance and pierce it with his sword, but before he can do his plan his senses warn him of a very grave danger coming to him.

Trusting his senses, he stop immediately and jump backwards to retreat from the snake. After he jump backwards the snake opened its mouth again releasing black gases that hit the place were Vaughn was before and spreading in the nearby surrounding while also withering the plants and grasses the black smog passed by.

Seeing this Vaughn have cold sweat in his back for thinking what might happen to him if he was still there. " Fuck!! It's poison gas!! What a troublesome skill, if I get poisoned by this snake, I'm finished!!

I don't have any skill or medicine to counter poisons right now!! Fuck!! I need to kill this snake immediately!!!" Vaughn said and can't help but to curse twice.

When the place was cleared of the black gas Vaughn dash right away towards the snake wanting to end the fight instantly.

The snake seeing the action of idiot, closed its mouth again and quickly release another black smog that moving directly to the running idiot.

Vaughn expecting this poisonous gas dash to his right and dodge it while continue to close the distance between him and the snake.

The snake seeing its gas being avoided stop releasing it and wait for the prey to come close enough and swallow the idiot whole by it's huge mouth.

Vaughn noticing the snake stopping it's breath, speed up and ready his sword to stab it in the snake.

The snake waiting for the right timing like a hunter, immediately move its head fast when Vaughn was within reach, pouncing with wide open mouth and white long fangs instantly reaching the ground where its prey was dashing and quickly snapped closed its mouth expecting the prey was already inside.

CRUNCH!!

When Vaughn speed up and reached closer to the snake, the snake suddenly move and pounce towards him fast surprising him greatly. You're really was a sneaky bastard!!! Vaughn cursed in his mind and wait for the snake to arrive.

Then, when the gaping mouth and protruding fangs neared him, Vaughn jumps high in the air avoided being swallowed whole and land above the snake's head.

Vaughn holds the sword backhanded and raise it above his head, pointing it towards the big eye of the black snake.

" THIS IS THE END!!! SNEAKY BASTARD!!!" Vaughn shouted and bring the sword down to the eyes of the snake stabbing it going all the way to it's brain.
