Vaughn was now fighting a rabbit, but not a normal rabbit, these rabbits was two times bigger than a normal rabbit and have a single horn on their foreheads.

Vaughn defended a headbutt from a horned rabbit in his right side and wanting to follow with a slash killing the horned rabbit, but then he caught a sight of a horned rabbit closing on him in the front wanting to skewered his body with its horn.

Seeing this Vaughn immediately cancel his plan and move the shield in the front.

When he block the attack at the front, he suddenly hear a dashing sound at his back and crouch to avoid another attack from a horned rabbit at his back, but that's not the end because when he look at his left there was a horn that pointing towards his face.

Vaughn was shock to this sight and jump to dodge the incoming attack.

Avoiding death and landing on the ground he retreated towards a nearby tree, sticking his back close to the tree he look again at this horned rabbits that nearly took his life.

" This fucking rabbits!! Their level was the same as those wolves but their faster and nimbler than the wolves, there's even four of them!!!" He said frustrated at this rabbits. " And their furr was black making them hard to see in this darken forest, then those red eyes gleaming in the dark. What to do?" He then think of a solution to defeat this rabbits without using magic skills.

" Sigh, this situation was also good because I can improve my skills in fighting with this kind of opponents." He said relaxing his tense body from nearly being skewered by the rabbits horn, then his face change in a serious expression and eyes showing great determination.

" Well, let's get them one at a time." He then raise his shield and ready his sword to thrust.

Seeing this, the horned rabbits dash at Vaughn all together while pointing their horns at him. Vaughn seeing this was confused. " Are these rabbits was idiots?? They didn't see the tree behind me??" Saying this he lowered his body and simply avoided their horns.

The four horned rabbits was now all sticking in the tree, horns deeply buried in the tree Vaughn walk away to look at this four idiots. " So this is the weakness of the rabbits? Not thinking before attacking? Maybe same with all the beast around these forest." He said and quickly kill the four idiots gaining exp and dismantling their corpse.

Gained 120 exp

Vaughn was now searching for another batch of horned rabbits at the same area to fight them again. " This time I will not use any tricks. I will defeat them only with my shield and sword to improve my combat prowess and fighting capability." He said with determination.

" Oh I level up? I was so focused in fighting that I forgot to count the exp points that I receive, but it's worth it." He said looking at the corpse of the five horned rabbits, he defeated them not without a price. He have many wounds on his body especially the legs, arms and his back destroying his work clothes.

" These rabbits are worthy opponents, I will hunt them everyday until I can defeat them without getting any wounds and not worrying how many of them was attacking me." He said and proceed to dismantle the corpse.

Finished with his harvest Vaughn look up and see the orange sunlight that telling him of the evening. " Time to go home." He said gulping a health potion wanting to reserve his Mana points for night training. Then he jogged towards his base.

Vaughn was now sitting in a chair relaxing after finished eating his dinner, resting for a minute, he close his eyes and think of the Mark at his shoulder to check if the goblin has recovered and try to take him outside the mark.

His mind entering inside the mark he see that the goblin was now awake and kneeling in the air while floating.

" Ma.. master!!" The goblin said without opening its mouth while looking up like it's looking towards him.

" You can see me!!!?? And you can even speak!!??" Said Vaughn surprised at the goblin, the goblin hearing the question of his master answered.

" Master I can only speak through mind because of our link, because of this link I can also feel when your mind entered my space." Said the goblin still kneeling in the air.

" So that's how it works, then can you get out of this space?" Vaughn asked to the goblin. Hearing this the goblin let out a nod and answered. " Yes master, with your permission and order I can go outside and fight by your side, just think of ordering me to go out of the Mark and I will immediately heed your command." Said the goblin.

" Oh!!! So it's that simple!!!" He said and exited the space of the goblin, opening his eyes, he thinks of the goblin to come out.

Then his tattoo on the shoulder lit up! Coming out from the tattoo was an orb of light that land on the floor, then the orb of light immediately turn in the shape of the goblin, the light covering the goblin was now going toward it's chest and go inside revealing the dark goblin Vaughn tame.

" MASTER!!!" shouts the goblin while kneeling in one leg and bowing his head showing its respect to Vaughn.

Seeing this Vaughn smile and said to his head, the tamed monster now was really loyal to me, maybe I can trust this goblin a little bit? " Interesting!!!."
