Chapter 69- Keeping her happy
Declan came with two containers of ice cream in his hands and found her on the balcony, leaning on the railing. He paused to watch her and then looked down at the containers in his hands. What he was doing was unthinkable just a few weeks ago. Eating ice cream with a woman on his balcony was something he had never imagined.
And arranging a candlelit dinner was way out of his league. That, too, he did, which was surprising. The more amazing part was that he enjoyed doing it.
At first, he didn't like to look at the ladies, let alone spend time with any of them. He assumed it was the most aggravating and time-wasting thing. Things began to change gradually when she came into his life. He had no idea how time flew by with her, and he yearned to spend it with her more and more.
He smiled more than usual nowadays. Even Francis and Ava noticed that, and they teased him, claiming that he had changed.
Did he change?
