Chapter 164- A call from Grace
Lisa came to meet Yasmin during the visiting hours. She was so heartbroken to see her in such a condition that she began to sob hard. Her nose and eyes had turned bright red.
Yasmin was also depressed as she watched her cry. "I will be okay soon," she could only say softly. "Stop crying right now." She wanted to ask her many questions, but she couldn't because Declan had warned her not to speak too much.
Lisa wiped her nose with a tissue and sniffed. "I was shocked and fell ill when I heard about your accident."
"Oh…" Yasmin was shocked too, to hear it.
"I couldn't even give the rest of the exam."
"Huh? Are you serious?" Yasmin's eyes were wide. She was not sad at all that she couldn't give her exam, but she was devastated that her best friend had also missed her exams because of her.
"Why are you so surprised?" Lisa sulked. "I don't feel bad at all about it. What kept me worried was you."
