Chapter 15

Alex felt a shiver down his spine, the nausea from the man's scent is giving him the urge to vomit right at this moment. He swallowed hard and counted in his mind to calm himself before he faced this creepy person behind him.

"We're doing okay Sir Dwight." He replied and casually moved his shoulders to remove the man's hands who was bluntly caressing it a while ago.

"If there is anything you don't understand just let me know. After all, you came here to learn, right?" Dwight said, clearly veiled with a double meaning. This time he caressed Alex's hands making the latter shiver once more.

Their first day at the Andersen Enterprise went by smoothly. The Human Resources Personnel in-charge of the interns, Ms. Rose is a very gentle woman. She gave them clear and helpful instructions on what to do at the office. She's a very cheerful woman that despite her being an Alpha, he and Dan were able to warm up to her. She sends off all the interns in their respective department one by one, giving each of them tips on how to handle each of their would-be bosses. When it came down to Dan and Alex, who coincidentally are the only Omegas in the group, her brows furrowed. She was a bit worried and reluctant to let the two of them go to their assigned department. She told them to wait as she needed to call someone first.

Alex and Dan waited for a few minutes for Ms. Rose to finish her call. When she came back, she was apologetic to the two of them. According to her, the managers were the ones who selected which interns to go to which department. She was out of the office when the managers did the selection and she was not able to avoid this situation.

The two Omegas looked at her confused at what she was saying. They are worried now that their acceptance to the Internship Program might be in jeopardy. They knew it's hard for Omegas to get selected by big companies like this.

"Miss Rose. Ahm.. we're okay with anything. I assure you we can handle it." Alex assured the female Alpha that they would be okay. He is scared that they would say that there was a mistake and they were really not accepted in the program. Dan, on the other hand, nodded his agreement with what Alex just said.

Ms. Rose sighed. "Don't worry guys, it's not because of your gender that I am hesitant to let you go." She said then stopped as if she had other thoughts in her mind. "Well it is somehow related to your gender I guess."

Alex and Dan looked at each other still not getting what the woman was saying.

"It's okay. Anyway what's done is done. You two just be careful. Be wary of your surroundings and let me know immediately if there is anything that is making you uncomfortable." The Alpha gave her final reminder to the two Omega before sending them off to the Planning Department.

Alex immediately understood what the female Alpha meant when she said they should be wary of their surroundings. He realized that as soon as they met their boss for the duration of their internship; Mr. Dwight, the Planning Department Head Manager is as creepy as an Alpha can ever be.

When the two of them were introduced to the team, they could feel the knowing gaze from all the staff. More intensely when it was disclosed that both of them are Omega.

When it was Dwight's turn to greet them, he enthusiastically clasped their hands, welcoming them to the team, though his hands linger on Alex and slightly squeezed his hands while looking at his body as if he's stripping him right there and then.

The mere presence of the man is making him dizzy. Not because he is bonded already and that a sensual touch coming from any other Alpha other than his mate would give him nausea but because the man is just plain creep. Even if he wasn't bonded he would still feel nauseous with the manager's touch.

It's been almost a week since they started their internship, and Dwight never fails to sexually harass Alex everyday. He would always sneak in a touch here and there. He would put his hands on Alex's shoulders or his hands. There was even a time during their welcoming dinner when Dwight sat beside him and casually put his hands on Alex's thighs.

"Let's inform Ms. Rose about this. She said we should tell her if things are making us uncomfortable." Dan was being fed up already with all the harassment Alex is going through. So far, he was able to escape the clutches of that creepy manager, but until when?

"I'm okay Dan." Honestly he doesn't want to make a big deal out of this. Dwight can't go far beyond touching anyway. For the first time since that night, he was glad that he's already marked, which means that the creepy manager can't do anything to him.

"Fine!" Dan couldn't help but agree but in his mind he would definitely find someone who can help them if Dwight does anything further.

"Keith, we're here."

Keith massages his temple when he hears Martin's announcement of their arrival. They just came back after a business meeting outside. Though it's after office hours, he asked his friend/bodyguard to bring him back to the office since he is workaholic like that. It hasn't been long since he took over managing their business and he still has a lot of things he wanted to do in order to surpass at least what his father has done.

"I'll have someone on stand by to send you home." Martin will check one of the latest leads they have on Keith's Omega. Keith just nodded, although he wants Martin to be at his side most of the time, lately the bodyguard has been spending his time searching for the Omega that he bonded with.

"Keith, what do you plan to do once we find him?" Martin asked curiously. They have been searching for the Omega for almost a month now but he's not sure what his friend/boss's intention is.

Keith was caught off guard by the sudden inquiry. Honestly he doesn't know what he plans to do. All he knows is he wants to find him, there's this inkling inside of him that is longing for the Omega. Maybe he just wants to make sure he won't be controlled by the Omega. Or maybe he just wants to see him again. "I guess I'll know when you actually found him." Keith responded as he got out of the car to head inside. He didn't know that, that moment was about to come.

His private lift was about to close when the employee's lift in front of him and a familiar scent hit his nose. A beautiful man with shoulder length hair rushed out of it. Realization hit him as soon as the door closed. He pressed all the buttons he could find to stop the lift and bring it back down.

A few of the employees were dumbfounded when their President suddenly came out of his private lift and rushed out to press the button to go down using their normal elevator. They were so shocked that they couldn't go inside the lift car when it arrived. The President came like a tornado that none of them knew how to react.

Upon arriving at the lobby, Keith searched frantically. He knows that scent, he can't be wrong. He curses when he realizes that people are looking at him curiously and the scent of the Omega he was looking for is no longer in the air.

"Just go! I'll be fine." Alex chuckled as he pushed Dan to the go ahead first. The other Omega is reluctant to go as they both know that the sudden workload being dumped on Alex right before clocked out is an obvious plan by that creepy manager.

Dan was about to argue some more when another manager came in to drag Dwight on a drinking session with the other managers. Dwight's disappointed look for his plans getting thwarted is enough reason for Dan to agree with Alex to leave first, since that maniac will not be around, Alex would be safe.

It didn't take Alex a long time to finish the job since it's obviously an unimportant one and it's really just meant to keep him at the office. Enough time for that disgusting Alpha to be alone with him.

He got on the lift and met a few familiar faces. He smiled to be polite. A Beta girl smiled back while the rest just ignored him. He is used to this treatment as he knows that there are still people who view Omegas as inferior even though Omegas are being accepted now in society, but sometimes it still gets to him. Like now, he suddenly felt a bit upset and wished that Dan was with him.

He stared at the little screen on the right side of the lift which shows which floor they are in. He stares at it wishing it will soon go down to the lobby.

He rushed out of the door as soon as it opened. His mood suddenly changed and he felt a feeling of calmness within him. He inhaled the calming scent and let himself get intoxicated for a second.

Alex's eyes grew wide as realization hit him. That particular scent he just inhaled, he knew that scent!

He looked around him and tried to search for the Alpha. Fear creeped in within him. The thought of the Alpha finding him scares Alex.

How is he going back here tomorrow now?
