The old lady was panicking, terror filling her.
"This is impossible! You should have the power to touch me!!"
Sora breathed in deeply, talking into the radio. "You came in at the right time, Tomoko."
"Oh, Sora! Good, you're alright!" Tomoko said through the radio, relief in her voice.
In a fit of panic and attempt to fight back, the old lady controlled Mirio, sending him straight to Sora. Her strings controlled Mirio, sending him forward and tackling Sora, causing him to lose control of the formless hand that he had created.
Sora's eyes stayed on the old lady as he was pushed back and lost control of the formless hand. He gritted his teeth in anger, his body slowly growing weak after forcing his body to use a unit of inner force he no longer had.
Realizing the situation he was in, Sora felt a looming sense of foreboding. Gritting his teeth, Sora rapidly spoke into the radio. If his intuition is right, then he's about to fall into some deep shit.
"Tomoko! I don't have much time, so just listen," Sora began, his eyes staring at the old lady that was pouring her strength into Mirio's body. "I might end up disappearing, or worse, dying. I need you to listen closely. I don't know how, but I will be back. Either from the dead or from the other side of the world. Just wait for a couple of days.
You don't have to worry about anything if I'm gone… I have plans set up should I ever go missing. Take care…"
Sora took off his radio and crushed it, his eyes never leaving the crazed old lady soul.
"I'm going to send you to somewhere you will no longer return from!" The old lady yelled in anger as she controlled Mirio. A sinister smile spread on her face as she activated Mirio's quirk, the quirk she had helped develop beyond it's potential.
"And I will kill you."
Sora stated coldly.
The old lady shivered, but it only made her want to get rid of Sora even more.
Woosh!
Sora's senses disappeared, everything went black and he could no longer hear anything as well. It was like he had gone blind and deaf, his sense of touch, his sense of life, breathing, taste… it was all gone.
It felt like everything had disappeared and returned to a state of death. Yet oddly enough, Sora began to feel calm in this state. The anger he felt simmered down and his mind turned extremely calm, nothing could perturb it, like outer space.
Vast and calm.
This is what the old lady had accomplished after helping Mirio train his permeation quirk. It's capabilities had grown stronger and it's abilities were vastly superior to before. Perfect control, now able to affect other stuff and people.
He felt like he was slipping through everything, the air, the light, the ground…
"You won't be returning here!"
Suddenly whilst his body was permeating through everything, Sora heard the old lady's voice in his head. That voice causes Sora to smirk, churning another unit of inner force within his body.
Summoning another unit of inner force, Sora can actively feel his body growing weak, but he ignored it. He needs to kill the old lady, if she doesn't die, she will return and kill everyone that was ever close to him.
Although he can't see or hear anything, he has Mirio holding him now. Using that, Sora can quite easily figure out where the old lady is.
"This world… this realm… it's not for you. You don't belong here," the old lady said, her voice coldly lingering in his head. "And you should never have been here in the first place, you parasite."
Suddenly, Sora felt something change, like he had just been pushed against a piece of paper until it ripped. His intuition was telling him that if he didn't act soon, he won't be able to kill her soon. Returning to Akira and the rest was now impossible, the instant Mirio regains control of his body, he won't know how to control his quirk like the old lady is doing.
"You will disappear."
She said one more sentence, and Sora began to feel a change. A pull, it was dragging him somewhere and Sora realized that this is his perfect chance to do something.
Urging out his inner force, it spread into the air, into a formless hand before grabbing into the air and clenching the hand tightly. The instant he clenched the invisible hand, Sora's world changed.
His eyes regained their vision and he saw the entirety of space around him. The area around him was completely dark and there was ground not too far from his location. He was falling through the sky, but Sora didn't pay attention to that as he looked at Mirio in the air.
Mirio was flickering in the sky, his eyes looking at Sora with grateful and panicked eyes. He realized what was happening, and he was trying his best to remain here, to grab Sora and return to their place, but Mirio was finding it difficult. His body was being pulled back elsewhere.
With no other alternative, he could only grit his teeth.
"Sora!"
Mirio yelled, his face filled with unwillingness and gratitude.
"I'll return! I'll save you, and bring you back! Just wait!" Mirio yelled, his eyes filling with tears before his body was pulled back. He disappeared and everything returned to silence… aside from the wind assaulting Sora's ears as he fell through the sky.
Bang!
Sora crashed into the floor, his body in pain and struggling to heal itself. His inner force temporarily gone, his body still weak from the weird punches that the old lady inflicted on him, and also weak from the over exhaustion of inner force.
Laying on the floor weak, blood flowing from the corner of his lips, Sora smiled lightly.
"Fuck."
***
The signal was cut, and Tomoko was panicking. She continued searching for a couple of minutes, but nothing showed up anymore.
"Sora..."
Tomoko began to feel extremely worried, her hand reached out to her radio, and she connected to Aizawa and the rest. She spoke to them, cried, and finally revealed what had happened.
"Ragdoll... lets meet up," Shino's solemn voice came through.
Tomoko controlled her feelings, taking a deep breath and trying to calm down. She turned the radio off and stepped out of her little hidden quarters. She gathered her stuff before leaving and heading to meet up with Shino and the rest.
"Ragdoll... what happened?" Shino asked, her eyes falling on the pale Tomoko. "Do you know what happened to Sora?"
Lowering her head and sitting down near Shino, Tomoko had a downcast look in her eyes. "Sora... he disappeared. I don't know if he's dead or alive. He said he will return, but he... he disappeared. I used my quirk to search for him, but there's nothing. You know my reach is strong when I have a target, but I can't find him."
"Anywhere?"
"Anywhere."
Realizing the seriousness of this, there could only be one reason for the reason she can't find Sora. He had died.
"He's... gone?"
Ryuko was off to the side, and also knowing what Tomoko's words meant. She had a dejected look on her face, and she walked away, off to think.
On the side, Tiger and Aizawa had heavy looks on their faces, quietly standing and keeping an eye on the captured villains.
Minutes later, the cops finally arrived, grabbing the villains.
Aizawa and Tiger followed the cops. They gave them the information and talked with them, leaving the women behind.
"Mandalay... he said he will come back."
"Come back?"
Shino furrowed her eyebrows, but she knew that it was something impossible. He was dead, there is no returning from death.
"Yes."
"Ragdoll... you know that it's impossible... right? He's.... dead." Shino said, deciding to be blunt about it. She didn't want to feed into Tomoko's hopes if it was only going to make her hallucinate and fall into a heavy depression.
Closing her eyes, Tomoko shook her head, a small smile forming on her face. "No... he's definitely still alive."
She had hope, either from her belief in Sora, or her woman's intuition. She wanted to see Sora again, and she felt like it will happen one day. She knew it won't be soon, but it WILL happen.
Shino was about to say something, but then she noticed Tomoko's face. She no longer had a sad face, but a calmer look with a smile and eyes bright with confidence. It stunned her, and she no longer wanted to say anything, wondering if maybe... just maybe... Tomoko is right.
She bit her lip and remained quiet before nodding her head to her.
"He'll be back."
Shino smiled and walked off to the side.
They got rid of the villains, the night sky still dark and the only light coming from a couple of flashlights and the bright moon in the sky.
"Good, they're gone, let's go back to the students."
"I need to make a phone call, you guys go ahead."
Aizawa stayed behind to make some calls to the principal of U.A., letting the Wild, Wild Pussycats to head back and check up on the children.
"Principal... something happened..."
...
"The children are all fine," Shino said as she looked at all the students of Class 1-A and 1-B playing around together and chatting.
Walking together, Shino, Tomoko and Tiger all went to gather the students and send them to sleep.
"Come everyone, fun's over. Time to sleep!" Tiger called out to the students, having them head into the cabins.
Some students groaned, but they listened nonetheless, with smiles and laughter as they headed straight into the cabins. All but a couple of girls who came to Shino and Tomoko who were standing nearby.
"Ms. Ragdoll, Ms. Mandalay.... where's Mr. Sora? We haven't seen him for a long while," Mina was the one to first come up to the two heroines. Momo, Ochaco, Toru, Kyoka, Tsuyu, and even Itsuka.
Their curious and bright eyes looked at Tomoko and Shino. Under their gazes, Shino felt guilty and nervous, wondering how she could respond to the girls.
"He got called in for a special mission," Tomoko said with a bright smile.
Shino looked at her from the corner of her eyes and sighed, smiling. She returned her gaze to the girls who were sighing in disappointment at not being able to see Sora again. "Alright, now get to sleep. Who knows when he'll be back, but we will be sure to tell him to go meet you girls."
The two heroines watched as the seven girls walked away and go back to their cabins.
"Let us go find Pixie-Bob and talk to her," Shino said, turning to look at Tomoko with a smile.
...
"What's happening?"
Underneath a hospital, within a secret base, Kyudai was pale and frozen in fright as he looked at the body in front of him.
Dead.
Every sign told him that All For One is dead.
"No!"
Moving, Kyudai grabbed All For One's body and sent it away to have it studied and to recover the quirk within him. Whilst he did that, Kyudai had Shigaraki brought to him.
"Everything has gone to hell!" Kyudai roared as he looked at Shigaraki whose eyes were wide as he looked at All For One's dead body. "We need to lay low and bring forward our plans."
"What happened to the old man?" asked Shigaraki, his eyes focused on All For One.
"I don't know, every organ within his body has been turned to mush. None of the cameras are working and Kurogiri has disappeared. We're going to be on our own for now. None of the villains we had are going to come either," Kyudai said, panic ridden. His hands trembling and his voice filled with urgency.
"We're on our own..." Shigaraki murmured, his eyes slowly turning to Kyudai.
