With his research and experience in gaming, he was quite good at interpreting the system-generated maps with their dots and crosses. For example, he paid attention to Wangliang Mountain before his eyes, which was mostly marked in grey on the map, with only a small part of its undulating hills depicted with contour lines and such. There were also some special markers.

Like on the easternmost hill of the mountain range, the summit there was markedly different from other areas, featuring a fairly large, dense forest. In most games, special terrains like this often contained something worth exploring, and so Xiao Buli took note of it.
