Aadi-27 (Part 2)

‘Prince Aadi-' she began.

'Look, whether or not you want to marry him is not what is of dire importance. Couibous hasn't had a queen for years- are you up for it?'

When Amar kept quiet, Aadi sighed.

'Ms Amar-' he prompted more gently.

'Prince Aadi.' she replied wearily, finally looking him in the eyes. She was shocked to see a comforting glint and felt slightly reassured. But the doubt from before came back and she shuddered once more.

'Your uncle's right hand took my innocence.' she blurted out. Aadi's grip on her shoulder tightened and he hummed as he turned her further from the crowd of people so they could talk in secrecy. Finally he reached the doors behind and saw they were open. Stupid waiter.

Aadi paused and let out a breath as Amar looked up at him uncertainly. Would he judge her? The Prince of Ardenia was hard to please but he didn't seem judgmental- from the little she'd garnered tonight. She needed someone not to- it wasn't her fault.
