The Irresistible Woman

"Ma'am here is your order. Enjoy!" The waiter, completely entranced by the woman sitting in front of him, took some time to come to his senses and went away reluctantly. The waiters were fighting hard in the backside in order to decide who will serve the charming lady sitting outside, but the boss chose him to serve her.

The woman looked stunning in her buttoned blouse and high waist pants. Her aura screamed of confidence and power. She looked like a high profile, invincible businesswoman.

She had light make up on and her long hair were put into a messy ponytail. The other customers in the restaurant can't help but look at her beautiful and ethereal presence again and again. She was not that fragile and delicate beauty who would evoke pity from others, rather she looked like a gorgeous and seductive she-devil, hypnotizing the mere mortals present around her.

Rectangular reading glasses sat on her nose, covering her beautiful azure eyes and long eyelashes. She was busy reading something on her iPad with the utmost concentration.

To work with such a Goddess like woman, her colleagues must be very fortunate. Some male customers started eating vinegar after thinking about it. Ah! how nice it would be, to stand beside her, converse with her and work alongside her!

Half an hour flew by and the woman was ready to leave the restaurant. She settled down her bill and went out of the restaurant. The atmosphere in the restaurant turned gloomy, a few moments after the departure of the stunning lady. Some of the customers were sitting in the restaurant, ordering more dishes just to keep getting a glimpse of her.

Really, a thing of beauty is a joy forever!

As soon as the woman went out of the restaurant, her gorgeous face turned cold. "Beauty is a disaster," She thought to herself. "I would have never believed it, if I didn't experience it myself."

The weather was sunny but it was not unbearably hot. The weather in the city remained moderate throughout the year with occasional rainfall. The simple restaurant was surrounded by a beautiful rose garden and a vast range of colorful roses were in full bloom.

But after gazing at the roses for a few minutes, her mood turned gloomy. She wanted to burn down the whole garden and destroy each and every single rose present there. For her, roses were a symbol of betrayal. Rose flowers were a part of one of the darkest part of her life. Unable to stand there in the fragrance of the roses, she strode away towards the parking lot.

Meanwhile, a young woman approached her, "Dr. Everly! the witness of the case has been escorted safely to the Firm. Director Smith is asking for your quick arrival. If possible then this case will be closed by the next hearing, it is such great news!", the bubbly Secretary Maria was very excited about the case, her boss was currently working on. Maria was totally opposite of Diana. Whereas Diana was serious and aloof, Maria was bubbly and cheerful.

This case dragged for three long years but as soon as her boss, Diana Everly took over it, it was about to end in just six months and that too with their victory! Even at such a young age, Diana was able to terrorize senior lawyers with her extraordinary skills. The clients fought to have her as their lawyer.

Diana Everly was the daughter of one of the famous hoteliers in the country, Alexander Everly, CEO of Everly Corporation. Contrary to everyone's beliefs, the girl chose to enter the Law field rather than the business and went on to become one of the youngest and the most successful lawyers in the country at the young age of twenty-nine. She graduated from Harvard School of Law.

Her family never stopped or discouraged her from choosing Law despite the fact that she could have easily secured a good post in Everly Corporation.

In the field of law, it was not easy for a young person to be counted as successful due to the lack of experience. But Diana did it. Presently, she worked for the Shields Law Firm which was a known private organization, dealing with both investigation and court cases. The payment fee was exceptionally high, but not that much that a big corporate or wealthy people can't afford to pay.

A lot of companies and rich people often got involved in scandals and controversies. It was not something new. Whatever the case might be, but their first choice was Shields Law Firm. The CEO of Shields Law Firm was a mysterious person, no one even knew whether it was a man or a woman, but all the employees were exceptionally brilliant and solved the toughest cases with ease.

The Shields Law Firm was not as old as other prestigious law firms in the country but it gave a tough competition to them. Many companies tried to hire their employees as their company's official lawyers but they could not do so.

Especially Diana Everly, they tried to meet her a number of times but were downright refused. She was a very private person, whose appearance was hard to catch. Even the whole Everly family were low key and avoided the limelight. People knew how she looked like but due to her rare appearances, she resembled an endangered species, with prominent companies and men running after her to recruit her or ask her hand for marriage.

Except for her family members, no one knew about her future plans. The socialites loved to give their interviews and disclose some of their future plans. But Diana hardly gave an interview. She was already twenty-nine, the age where most of the girls were already married. But Diana neither showed any interest in men nor dated anyone. She was like an Aloof Queen. But according to people, every Queen needs a King. But did this queen need one?

"How did you come here? Were you not at the Firm?" Diana inquired with a frown.

"Oh! to bring you back as soon as possible, Director Smith sent me!" Ava replied cheerfully.

"Let that old man wait! It's not like I am going to run away with some Mr. fancy pants." Diana rolled her eyes and leisurely walked towards her car. "I need to select a gift for someone. After one week, she is going to celebrate her birthday."

Meanwhile, on the 48th floor of the Shields Law Firm, an old director was throwing tantrum. "She refused my direct orders and went for shopping? Does she even keep me in her eyes?" Director William Smith asked his secretary.

He was Diana's mentor and guardian since the day she stepped foot in this Law Firm. He found great potential in her and gave his time to polish her skills. He guided her with full enthusiasm and now he was really proud of her. The pretty secretary giggled and told him," Sir, Dr. Diana even said that she is not going to run away with some Mr. Fancy Pants. You do not need to worry.." the old man even stomped his foot childishly and went away with his secretary Amy giggling behind him.

Meanwhile, Kinsley Corporation

"Sir, these papers have been sent by the Shields Law Firm for your approval and signature. They are required at the court by 2 pm. Rest Dr. Diana will take care of!" The seventy floored skyscraper of Kinsley Corporation looked spectacular under the bright sun. The people can't help but look twice at the majestic building to capture its splendor in their eyes.

On the sixty-seventh floor, the CEO of the Kingsley Corporation, Aiden Kingsley was going through the documents, that his secretary, Sally brought in the morning. The man looked very handsome with blond hair, hazel eyes, and a tall and built body. He looked no less than a modern Adonis. The man was in his early thirties and already married to a beautiful fashion designer.

"Sally, I have signed these papers. Send them to the Shields Law Firm. And tell them that we will double the payment if they wrap up the case in one week" Aiden told his secretary Sally.

"But sir, we are already paying them a huge amount, if we double it up, it will be our loss" Sally felt bad that extra millions are going to be drained. Though this amount is nothing for a big company like Kinsley Corporation, for a middle-class girl like her, it was indeed a huge amount.

"I know, it will be our loss. Dr. Everly is a very competent lawyer, she has the ability to wrap up the case in one week. But the Shields Law Firm will insist her to drag the case, so as to draw more money from us. Instead of letting the case being dragged for more time and giving our enemies a chance to slander us, it would be better if the case is closed as early as possible!" Aiden didn't want his family's as well his hard work to go in vain by letting his company get dragged into some scandal, which was totally fake. Thus, he was trying his best to overcome this obstacle no matter how much money it would cost.

"I will inform them right away, sir. May I leave?" Sally may be young, but she knew her work perfectly. She didn't look for excuses to hang out around the CEO, just because he is rich or handsome. She liked being realistic. And seducing a married person is something, her morals and upbringing won't allow her to do.

Moreover, Aiden Kinsley is not a simple man. Almost everyone in the city knew how he treated his first wife years back...

"I hope everything is prepared by now, they will ask us to close the case by a week. So we need to make the necessary preparations fast. This is the best chance to accomplish our mission. As soon as everything is ready, give me a call" Diana cut the call and leisurely sat in her lavish and spacious office.

Even her office gave off an overbearing aura with black and white paint and some intricate patterns. Diana was a plant lover. Some lovely potted plants were kept in her office that added to the charm of the already spectacular office.

As Diana had predicted, after two hours her secretary, Maria came knocking at her door, with some documents. "Ms. Diana, these documents have been sent by the Kinsley Corporation. They will double up the payment fee if their case is closed within one week. What reply should I give to them?

"It's my pleasure to help such a prestigious company. Kinsley International cannot be involved in such scandals, it is not good...for anyone." Diana replied with a smile but no one noticed a glint of coldness that flashed in her eyes for a few milliseconds.

Back in the Everley Villa, Diana was sitting in her huge room that was filled with complete darkness.

"To begin with, I was the one who dragged them into this case, this is nothing Kinsley, slowly I will give you a taste of your own medicine" saying this, Diana started smirking "you have to pay for what you did to Dawn, you have to pay"...
