Chapter 13: Internal Struggles
Scott knew that he was starting to slack on his work, and yet he couldn’t bring himself to care. Why should he? There are more important things happening around him, important things that he should be worrying about instead of a stupid job.
His mind wanders back to Lance, he’s avoiding the human, especially after his outburst with Leo, and he knows that he’s going to have to make up his mind. Soon.
‘There is also the concern of the rogue pack, I haven’t heard any news from Miles about them. I don’t even know if their little pack has a name.’ Scott thought as he plastered on a fake smile for the customers.
It didn’t matter, he was here which meant he still had a job to do. Working at the grocery store today was a busy day, and it left Scott wondering if humans were just waiting for the ‘wolf attack’ to reach their town.
