The mother then asked, "Camy and Cecil, how was your visit to the Spring Festival? Did you both have fun?"

Now Rune also had all his ears to them because he was curious to know about it. If Vladis did anything to his sweeties then he would not leave him.

"Yeah, it was so much fun. We even brought gifts for you. After dinner we would give them to you", Camy said excitedly.

"Yes Mom. We had so much to show. Mr. Vladis is such a gentleman. He was the one who paid for those gifts. So, in return, Camy bought him a gift for him too.", Cecil said while putting her one hand on her sister's shoulder. While Camy had her head down all the time in embarrassment.

They all had dinner peacefully. Camy and Cecil were talking and laughing about their jokes and having some bickering in between. Rune would also sometimes join them to tease his sweeties.

Mrs. Taylor also has to remind them about the food so that they can enjoy it while it was warm.

Resel only had his father as his family so she never experienced this kind of atmosphere. Her father was also strict so she would remain silent while having dinner with him. So, this was the first time she had so much fun while having dinner. She was most of the time laughing at jokes cracked by Cecil and Camy.

Rune would also look at Resel laughing heartily yet shyly. Watching her laugh was giving a kind of relief and he felt good that he was the reason for it. Though he couldn't get a hold of his feelings, unconsciously he was looking at her in a different light than the other girls.

But what they didn't notice was that Cecil was actually noticing both her big brother and Resel. When she would look dazed while looking at Rune laughing or when his brother was looking at her like she was a part of his home and only looking at her was a stress buster for him. Though she didn't show it and neither mentioned it to anyone, she could see some sparks between them.

The dinner ended pretty well, and all went to their rooms to have a good sleep. Camy and Cecil were tired from their spring festival visit so soon they dozed off. Resel was also tired from the journey and also, she felt content with the dinner, so she also slept easily. Rune though was worried about the mystery he had to solve to save his sweeties from any danger, but his exhaustion took over and he slept.

At the palace

Vladis was called in the study early in the morning by his lord. He knocked on the door and entered when he heard," Come in, Vladis".

Arthur seemed to be in a great mood because Vladis could sense his energy. To know the reason he guessed," My lord, did you find any lead for the mystery overnight?"

Lord didn't react to anything but was still carrying a faint smile. Vladis thought the main reason he could have gotten so high was the answer to the locks but seeing his reaction, it was not the case so he started running his horses, but all was futile.

Finally giving up he asked," Lord, care to tell me the reason for your high spirits in the morning."

"Tomorrow early morning, we will go to the central library, so make the arrangements for that. Also ask Mr. Griffon, the research head, to come and meet me."

Vladis nodded his head in response and went to bring the order in action when Arthur added, "Also If I think that any lead which I received is necessary to be informed to you I would tell you."

Vladis went to take care of the arrangements and informed Rune about the mission.

After the meeting with Mr. Griffon, Arthur called Vladis.

"Yes, My lord"

"Do you want to leave your beloved one unprotected here?" Without beating around the bush, Arthur asked his intention.

"Huh?"

"Before we go, arrange the special guards for Camy and Cecil's protection. Though they are in Taylor's mansion, we can't guarantee when they are outside the mansion."

'Yes, my lord"

Though Vladis replied immediately but he was suspicious of his actions because why would he ask him to do the obvious.

"Also, you have to inform Camy about it so that they don't feel uncomfortable. So, why not go now? I will also go with you."

"Why would the lord trouble himself? You must be busy dealing with state affairs. I will do this."

"Oh no no…. I must take out time to take care of my citizens. So, Let's go."

"..."

Though Vladis was suspicious but now his doubts were all cleared that he was just tagging along to meet Cecil.
