A Warm Tea

Tears fell down and starts to make traces on Erin's hospital gown. Erin didn't even realize if she is crying.

"O-oh! Sorry!"

Erin tries to wipe away the tears, and question herself.

"(Oh God.. Why am I crying?!)"

Doctor Perry just silently look at Erin and tries to study her expression.

*Slip*

Then he lift up the clipboard that he is holding, and starts to flip through the papers on the clipboard.

"..."

No one is talking, the room is completely silence.

Erin look over to Doctor Perry's direction, and seems like he is still busy with the pages on his clipboard. Erin doesn't want to bother Doctor Perry, so she just look down to her hospital gown, and stare at the tears traces.

"Say.. Erin.."

Erin is surprised being called by Doctor Perry,-

"Y-Yes?"

Doctor Perry look at Erin and say-

"Do you remember anything that happened?"

Erin is shocked by Doctor Perry's question, and then she felt something is on her throat, not letting her to say anything.

"..Do you remember..?"

Erin wants to say something, but her throat is not letting her to say anything.

"...Don't push yourself to give me an answer, it must be hard to remember.."

Erin look at Doctor Perry confusedly.

"What do you mean..?"

"That bandage on your forehead."

Erin touch the bandage on her forehead again, and trying to remember something, but then-

"Agh!"

Erin felt something is shocking her head again.

Erin look up to Doctor Perry, and his expression seems worried. Erin try to laugh it off, and not make him worried.

"Haha, sorry... It's just.. still hurt.."

Doctor Perry look at Erin worriedly. Erin then look down and stare at her hospital gown again.

"...I see.."

Erin is still looking down, and then hear something clicking.

Erin look up, and see it's Doctor Perry's pen that is clicking.

Doctor Perry write something down on the clipboard, and then he and Erin made an eye contact.

Doctor Perry just give Erin a smile.

"Everything is going to be okay.."

Erin look at Doctor Perry and her vision starts to blur.

Erin cries. Doctor Perry pat Erin on the back, and let her cry.

"How do you feel now?"

Doctor Perry hand Erin a cup of warm tea.

"Yup, better now.. Thank you."

Erin take the cup of warm tea from Doctor Perry's hand.

"Seems like you are having an amnesia.. But it's okay, it's normal."

Doctor Perry pull out his pen, and starts to write on his clipboard again.

"..What are you writing, Doctor?"

"Hm?"

Doctor Perry stops writing, and look at Erin.

"Oh this? I'm just writing about how your condition is right now. Don't worry, I don't write anything weird, haha."

Doctor Perry laugh a bit, and then continue to write again.

Erin stare at Doctor Perry for awhile, and then stare at the warm tea that she is holding.

Erin took a sip, and she instantly felt a nice warm sensation inside her body.

*Click*

Doctor Perry put back his pen into his coat pocket.

"How is the tea? Is it to your liking?"

Erin look up, and say-

"Yes, it's warm and nice!"

Erin voice becomes cheerier, and Doctor Perry can't help but smile to hear Erin's cheery voice.

"I'm glad!"

Erin take another sip of the warm tea.

Doctor Perry stare at Erin for a bit, and then look at the watch on his right arm.

"..Oh it's time.."

Erin look up to Doctor Perry's direction.

"I have an appointment with another patient."

Doctor Perry look at Erin.

"Well, it's better for you to have a rest, Erin."

Doctor Perry gives Erin a warm smile.

"Yes, I will. Thank you for your time with me, Doctor!"

Erin smile back at Doctor Perry.

Doctor Perry give Erin a small wave, and starts to walk towards the door.

"Oh yeah!"

Erin is startled by Doctor Perry's voice. Erin look at Doctor Perry's direction.

"I just remembered... Your parents will come to see you in about two hours.. So about 7 PM.."

Erin is shocked by what Doctor Perry said, and ask-

"W-Wait, Really?!"

Erin stands up, and almost dropped the warm tea that she is holding.

Doctor Perry give Erin a thumbs up, and say-

"Yup, I'm not lying!"

Erin still have a surprised look on her face, and make Doctor Perry a little bit worried.

"U-Um.. You don't want to see your parents..?"

Erin's reaction made Doctor Perry worried, Erin stutter to say what she wants to say.

"I-I..Uh..I-It's just.."

Erin stutter more and more, and her face become red.

"..Yes..?"

Doctor Perry is confused, and trying to get an answer from Erin.

"Sorry! It's just.. I didn't expect them to come.."

Doctor Perry is surprised by Erin's answer.

"..I... I want to see them!"

Erin looked so happy, and excited. Doctor Perry feel so relieved by Erin's answer, and then giggle a bit.

"..Good to hear. Well then~"

Doctor Perry give Erin a short wave, and then leave the room.

"Hehe.. I can't wait to see them..!"

Erin flop back to the hospital bed happily, and also almost dropped the warm tea.

"Yes?"

"..Oh it's you..!"

"..She..didn't ask about her.."

"Yes, I also found it weird as well.."

"..Do you think so?"

"Well it is still down there.. Who knows what actually happen.."

"..I wanted to, but I can tell from her face if she doesn't remember anything that have happened..."

"..Oh, she seems better than the first time she woke up.."

"..*sigh*...Yeah I will..."

"..I will try alright.. But I can't promise anything.."

"..Yes... yes.."

"Mhm, talk to you later..."

"...Dad."
