1- Entering new world: campus thrilled with his presence

A young man, looking depressed, walks along the sidewalk as the rain pours heavily. He had been covered in black suits, as if he were from the memorial day.

Releasing a deep breath, he stood straight to cross the road. Despite that, his focus was on the random surface until the car's horn sound screeched his ear, which was audible enough to tear his ear.

Suddenly, in some sort of illustration, a shuddering teenage girl with a school bag stood in the middle of the busy road as the car came towards her at high speed.

He quickly recovered his sight and gathered his eyes to look towards the palace where the horn sound was coming from. He found a young girl, who was forgetting to breathe, facing the car.

He rushed instantly, gripped her hand, dragged her onto him, and embedded her face over his chest before the car hit her.

That girl, whose whole body encountered extreme flutter as a result of the incident, sensed that man's heartbeat was going from easy to crazy; furthermore, she sniffed his sweat-tinged black suit while she was collecting breath once she found himself safe in someone's arms.

As the rain drenched them, he shifted slightly upon recognising her warmth and asked softly, "Are you alright?"

As she listened to him speak, his voice sounded like a beautiful melody to her, blending in perfectly with the sound of the rain. She knew she would never forget it. Just as she was about to nod in agreement, he noticed an umbrella stranded in the middle of the road, so he quickly ran to retrieve it and brought it back to her.

He extended the umbrella towards her, while her curious eyes longed to catch a glimpse of the man. Unfortunately, the car's absence on the highway made it difficult for her to see his face. She could only glance at his hand that was offering her the umbrella and hear his concerned voice say, "Be safe on the road."

He then walked off her as she looked at his back figure, swallowing it inside her mind, to recognise it as if she were expecting life to offer her another time with him.

That man arrived at his normal-looking house. Soon he heard a vulnerable male voice say, "Where the hell were you all this day without even attending your sister's memorial day?" He stopped right there, refusing to meet their eyes and deliberately avoiding answering them.

"She must regret having a brother like you!"

Upon hearing him, he shed tears unconsciously as his folded fist tightened in anger.

"You are nothing but a burden to this family. We lost our precious child, and the other one doesn't seem to care about the family. Please leave and don't ever come back," his father yelled as his mother wept in front of his beautiful sister's picture.

He released his held fist and walked upstairs, despite his father's every harsh word piercing his heart like hell.

As he stepped into his room, the first thing his tears brimmed eyes glimpsed was his elegant smiley sister's framed photo that was on his table. He went to it and picked it up. The look on his eyes made it difficult to differentiate whether that was admiration or misery.

He then put it inside his school bag and left the room without taking anything other than that.

"Where are you going?" His mother blocked him, shedding tears.

"Live well. From now on..." He trailed since he was sort of voice just because he was emotional looking at his sister's photo in the living room. Overcoming it, he briefly said, "Y-you can't feel burdened about anything from now on."

"Hyun Jae!" Her mother cried her heart out upon seeing him leave the house.

As he walked past the entrance, he thought, "It was always my sister; I miss her."

It was the time, and he felt like he had passed through something thin blue light. He stopped right there and gave a quick stare back at his house entrance, only to find nothing wrong with it but confused by the sudden stop of rain. Furthermore, he can't hear his mother cry either. Exhaling a sigh, he headed towards the street.

He arrived at the park with the school bag and spent his night alone in the mosquito bite.

The next day was born. Unlike always, that sun appeared to be soft in reflecting lights. Hyun Jae acknowledged his skin feeling secure even under the direct sunlight.

"What a harmless light!" He wondered effortlessly, gazed at the sun with his bare eyes, and felt like it was nothing harmful to his eyes.

"Am I dreaming?" He thought, deliberately regretting to accept the reality. He then got ready for school in the sauna (a Korean bathhouse).

At school, he caught couples kissing on the verandah openly, as if they didn't mind passersby.

"Hoi!" He shouted.

They startled even the students who were passing by.

"It is Hyun Jae; run!" That boy flustered and ran away with his girlfriend as other students wide-eyed at him in shock.

"What? Why are you all looking at me like this?" Asked Hyun Jae.

Avoiding answering him, everyone emptied the verandah, filled the classes, and started gossiping, "It is Hyun Jae; how is he here?"

Everyone in the school was confused and, at the same time, scared of Hyun Jae's return.

guys, let me know if you find it nice and worth to continue. I'm currently wavering in thoughts to start this novel.
