We get home after a long emotional day.

I sit on the couch. The others joining me. "It's only monday" Emily says. I sigh. Fuck I have a whole week of seeing them. "His humanity isn't turned off.. I don't know if that is good or bad.. he thinks she saved him. How fucked is that" I say. We sit in silence for awhile.

"He has always been loyal to a falt" Derek says. Shrugging his shoulders. "Yea.. I just hope he realizes we are not the bad guys here" Katie says. "I feel like this is Karama for all the things I've done.. maybe I am not meant to be happy" she says. I look at her. "We all have a past. What matters is if we learn from it and decide to be better from it. You are choosing to be. I have to hope that he will come to his senses.. I cant believe he'd hurt us" I say. Derek and Jake leave to go hunting. "I am glad I came to my senses" Katie says. I nod. "Me too. I wonder what there plan with kayla is" I say. They look deep in thought

"I'd imagine shes a means to a end. They know she drives us crazy so they let her stick around" Emily says. I nod. "I can't believe cassie was using me.. pretending to be my friend.. but she said she was helping my mom. Think maybe she helped kill her "? I asked"Maybe" Katie responds. "Man.. I know a lot of fucked up people" I reply. Victoria comes down. "Hey lady's. I know I am supposed to be the adult here" she says with air quotes "but after the last few weeks we've had I think we deserve a lady's night. Drinks and boy talk" she says. I smile.

"I am so in. I want to get what was it you said the first night we met em? White girl wasted"? I say laughing. She laughs. We make are way to the kitchen. Her mom mixing us drinks. I've had about four drinks now. "Katie we should match for prom. I tend to wear black if that is cool with you" I say slurring my words a lil. "I love the color black! I wish Jake was your date though yall will be such a cute couple" she says.

I sigh. "I don't see that happening" I say. "He is totally into you though" she says. I raise my eyebrow. "I don't think so" I say. "He definitely is. He is just to stubborn to admit it" Victoria says. I stare at them. I can feel my face turn pink.

"Aww shes blushing" Emily says. "Shut up" I say. I look down. "Right now isn't the time to start anything anyways." I say. Katie nods. "Do.. do yall think nick has slept with haylie, kayla or cassie.. I mean I know Haylie hinted at it. I just still can not believe she would do this to me"? She asks looking down. "You did say vamps need sex.. so" I stop my self not wanting to upset her. She nods.

"I want to dance let's go to a club" Emily says. I jump up in down with excitement. The boys come into the kitchen. "Why is she jumping like a fire cracker" Derek asks. "Because we are going to the club and one of yall have to drive us" Victoria says. Emily starts jumping with me. Katie laughs. "you guys are so silly." She says.

Jake shakes his head. "Its a school night.. " he says. "Oh please. We deserve to let loss. All the shit we've had to put up with. Plus sense when do you care about school?" Emily says. "I don't but you and stormie should.. yall are human. You should finish high school. Go to college and live"! He says sounding so serious. I start laughing. He looks at me. A small smile on his face. "I am sorry it is just funny" I say. "Please please please" Emily says. Katie joining her. They roll there eyes. "Fine" Derek. says. We quickly get dressed and head to club blue door.

Once inside. I spot kyle,kayla,cassie,hayley and nick. Katie grabs my hand. Along with Emily. Emily holds her mom's. "Screw them let's have fun" I say. We scream in agreement. We make are way to the dance floor.

I hear crying in the club start. "I love this song" I scream. We start dancing and singing.

"Wow you have a amazing voice" Katie says. I smile.. than it falls. "Yea.. it sounds better when I sing with nick" I look down. "None of that tonight. Tonight we are normal teenage girls. Who's only worry is if the boy we like likes us back" Emily says. I nod. I feel eyes on us..

Kayla and her group, along with Jake and Derek are watching us.

We continue dancing and singing.

Emily joins us now. Us three are setting the dance floor on fire.

We take a break and go get drinks. "All right all right. Everyone having a good time" The dj says. We scream. "We are having open Mike now. So come sign up. Unless your scared" he says.

Emily and Katie look at me. "Do it. Go up there and sing"! They demand. "You know what why the hell not" I say. I make my way up there. "I'd like to sing head above water" i say. The DJ nods. "Your name" he asks. "Stormie" I say.

"Alright alright we have stormie here with us tonight. She is going to sing head above water. Give it up for stormie. " he says. I stand at the mic and look at the ground. My eyes find Jake. He is staring at me with a look I don't understand. I than find nick. This is the first time I've ever actually sang with out him .

I take a deep breath. The music starts.

"I've gotta keep the calm before the storm I don't want less, I don't want more Must bar the windows and the doors To keep me safe, to keep me warm Yeah, my life is what I'm fighting for" the ground cheers. I feel a bit more at ease. "Can't part the sea, can't reach the shore And my voice becomes the driving force I won't let this pull me overboard"

I grab the mic and hold the stand with my other hand. Giving it my all.
