Yang Clan's Yan Sanniang I

Alucard heard her cold voice and couldn't help but chuckle.

There were two differences from the last time he saw her, which told him her behaviour wasn't as cold as she was showcasing.

First, her hair was no longer in a ponytail, instead, it was left free reaching her robe-covered butt.

And second, her white robe now had a silver wide lace around her abdomen that made the robe around her look much tighter and her modest curves way more visible.

"I didn't know you were in such a rush to have a date with me Sanniang~" He chuckled and sipped some wine, needless to say where it came from.

Sanniang bit her pretty lips but her eyes never stopped looking at his, "It is not a date... It is a tea session. Also, you shouldn't be drinking wine when I am going to prepare tea for you..."

"Whatever, you call it tea session, I call it a date, what's the difference? Are we going to have it here? This doesn't look like the best place to have a date." Alucard smirked and his wine disappeared, eager to see what kind of tea she would serve him today.

"You're shameless... I will take you somewhere, don't resist my powers." She looked to the side and sighed softly before her hands started doing signs and her power enveloped the two of them.

However, the next second, Yan Sanniang's body disappeared but Alucard's remained in place...

A few seconds passed before the lady once again glared at him with a frown.

"I told you to not resist!" She literally screamed!

The count deadpanned at her rant, he really didn't resist...

"Let's just say that my existence is not that simple... Is that some kind of object teleportation technique?" He asked.

"... Yes, why?" Sanniang was now quite interested, she had used a martial technique to teleport and she had indeed not felt him using either divine or natural energy to stop her, yet... She couldn't take him...

She concluded that he must have used some other method to prevent it.

"Such techniques don't work with me, just fly away and I will follow you." He said nonchalantly and the next second, his body disappeared, leaving her bewildered.

His 'true' body was everywhere and nowhere at the same time, while what people saw of him was but a fleshy 'projection', there was no way she could teleport a 'body' that didn't exist in the first place, unless she teleported his whole omnipresent existence which would of course result, in a paradox...

Not minding any of this as Yan Sanniang was oblivious to the true nature of his existence, she just camouflaged as before and flew at high speeds towards the south, using all her energy to conceal herself, testing whether he would be able to follow her or not...

After travelling for a few seconds at her maximum speed she finally caught up with her objective, the South of China, the region of Yunnan.

It was a very green land with edifications that dated to the origins of china itself, giving it a lot of old-era's vibes.

She landed softly in a particular grassland with myriad flowers, it had a small edification that resembled that of a shrine, and the soft breeze caressed the vegetation and her robes as she made her way to the shrine.

Inside the shrine, Alucard stood watching what looked like the golden status of 'Gods'.

Yan Sanniang looked at his handsome figure from the distance as he simply gazed at the 'gods' with a mocking expression, still surprised at the fact that not only he managed to follow her despite her concealment... But he also arrived before her.

"Before we start, I'd like to ask you something." She said suddenly and stood beside him.

"I would also like to ask you something." He also said, not taking his gaze from the 'gods'.

"Okay, you ask first." The graceful cultivator stared at him, awaiting his question.

"Does your master know that you're here with me?" He said and gave her a sidelong glance.

She bit her lips slightly and gazed at him straight, "No... my turn, can I ask twice?"

"Yes..."

"Why aren't you loyal to Lin Ruoxi? You clearly have something with your secretary..." Her question seemed out of place, and it was certainly not something he'd expected her to ask.

"So you're not going to hide the fact that you were there yesterday?" He suddenly said with a smirk.

"If you could sense me today, why wouldn't you be able to sense me yesterday..." She rolled her eyes and walked back out of the shrine with Alucard following her.

"More than sensing... Why else would those ants come to my place by themselves, knowing that I can squash them at any time?" Shrugging in dismissal, Alucard asserted.

He had only felt a slight perturbance in space yesterday during his meeting with Lin Zhiguo. It was at least thirty kilometres above, he had guessed it was Sanniang, but he couldn't confirm, it could have been any other cultivator.

"You haven't answered my question." She insisted and waved her hand as a graceful mantle spread through the green clear grass.

"I'm loyal to Lin Ruoxi, she knows what I am doing... As for Alcina, she's special to me, that's all I'm going to tell you regarding that matter."

"Really? Does she also know about her caretaker?" Sanniang's voice turned a little colder, enough for him to perceive as utensils spread through the mantle, everything needed to prepare tea but with the most primordial methods.

"... Tell me Sanniang, why do you care?" He sat down on the mantle and gave her a sharp stare, she wasn't making this very easy.

"Alucard, why do you care whether my master knows if I am here or not?" She smiled softly, not giving him a stare as she sat in seiza position and started peeling the plants she would use to prepare tea.

"Only fools answer a question with another question..."

"Then don't be a fool and answer mine, Alucard. Why aren't you loyal to Lin Ruoxi... Or your secretary. If you answer mine, I will answer yours, that's the deal."

"Who set that deal up?" He chuckled.

"Me."

"Unreasonable."

"As are women, or so men say since eras ago... I'm an old monster Alucard, just like you, your sweet words won't work with me."

"Ho? Is that why you're dressed like that today?" He obviously wanted to change the topic from the one she so desperately wanted to touch, and his words hit home as she flinched for a moment.

"What are you talking about? These are my common robes, don't change the subject and answer me..." Concealing her face she continued to prepare the tea, but how could Alucard not see her blush?

However, all she received were a pair of arms enveloping her waist, this surprised her but unexpectedly she didn't stop focusing on boiling sandalwood.

"You're thousands of years too early to compare with me Sanniang. I can see your intention from miles away."

"W-What intentions?"

"Why do you care so much whether I am loyal to Ruoxi or not... Could it be that you want me to stay only loyal to you when the time comes?~" He asked with a smirk, and his arms left her waist producing slight disappointment in her.

"... I will answer you that when you tell me why." She continued, quite insistent on the subject.

"I told you, I am loyal to Ruoxi, she knows my circumstances and is close enough to know my secrets, but there are things that take time, such as my relationship with Yulan... That is all. Now you tell me, why do you care?..."

For the next few minutes, she didn't answer. Instead, she finished preparing the tea which had sandalwood, cinnamon and honey, among other species that he didn't know but guessed were not available everywhere.

The flavour was potent and illusion-inducing, unlike any tea he had ever tasted in his life and that was just the flavour.
