Her Ambitions

The eastern sunshine came upon the mortals once again as two immortal existences basked in the darkness of Hermes' Brewings main office.

Alucard sat in front of his desk, the graceful body of his sleeping draculine weighing on him as he awaited the beginning of another day.

Lady Dimitrescu slept peacefully, a bloody mark left on her healthy neck after her master sated himself with her blood, a request she herself appointed after her desires were sated by his kisses and caresses.

The greedy Draculine kissed her master until both their lips were swollen, no sex and no blood left her with little option but to hunt his lips to gratify her hunger... After hours and hours of kissing, the countess decided to simply sleep her cravings off to the next day.

As he caressed his Draculine's silky hair, Alucard decided to check on his phone to see what was planned for the day. So far, only his date with Tang Wan this evening was within his plans.

It was already 10:00 am and most of the employees within Hermes were already doing their respective jobs, all of them so busy that most didn't even pay any heed as to whether their chairman was present or not. Usually, his and Alcina's presence within the premises mattered only to Gerald, Secretary Ji and Ma Guanhui.

Ruoxi *-*: "Hi Vlad, Good Morning~ I hope you're doing okay, I apologise for falling asleep on you like that, what a bad host... I hope you will pass by Yu Lei at any time, we still have to discuss the details regarding the entertainment branch, and also, I want to spend more time with you, bring some chocolates the next time, Kiss~."

Wan<3: "Good Morning Mr Dracula~, I'm looking forward to our 'meeting', remember that we have to pick up my daughter on our way back, think about what way are you going to speak with her, she's usually very easy going but still... Alucard could only chuckle and release a sigh as the pair of successful women left him messages very early in the morning, he might go to Ruoxi's house after finishing his 'meeting' with Tang Wan.

And finally, aside from the usual messages from Gerald, Guanhui and Secretary Ji, there was also a call from two unknown numbers.

'So he's the leader of those wastrels? I wonder what he wants to talk about, likely some sort of non-action agreement...'

Secretary Ji just sent a message saying that Maple Corporation's production team had arrived and that they were already working together on improving their production rate, possibly showcasing results during the next board meeting, something that he wasn't really concerned about as he trusted the professionals Catherine fetched for him.

Switching on his computer he prepared to have a look at the market as he felt Alcina stir awake in his arms, her first action after gaining some lucidity was to run her tongue along his neck.

"Good Morning Master, Can I?"

Alucard nodded simply and carried on with his business as Alcina's fangs pierced his skin and her hands roamed his body possessively.

The count frowned when he detected Secretary Ji heading towards his office.

"Someone's coming Alcina..."

But the Draculine just wouldn't heed, her fangs sucked his blood even faster as her body twisted and turned in pleasure, having craved this all night yesterday, there was no way a nuisance such as a mortal was making her stop!

Alucard sighed and his body started to 'swallow' Alcina like a black hole!

"M-Maste-!?" The poor draculine didn't even have time to process what happened before her whole body got sucked inside of his!?

"Enter..."

A graceful lady entered the office, her name is Ji Linmu, she's the newly appointed secretary in charge of all internal affairs between departments, she's a married woman with a lot of expertise in regards to company administration and resource management, as for where did she come from?

She was on the list of professionals an individual like Sheng Mingluo held in high regard.

She was not his personal secretary but she was in charge of managing the communication between departments as well as relaying everything to him when necessary.

"As expected, you are here Chairman... I'm surprised at how can you come here unnoticed." She bowed slightly in salutation and smiled briefly, Vlad Tepes was an odd man, he wasn't around most of the time, but his identity as the leader of this company was inquestionable. He also tended to come back to his office straight without anyone even noticing...

"Yes Mrs Ji, I slept here yesterday, what can I help you with?" He said casually, still looking at his laptop, everything was going well.

"Is that the case, should we refurbish this office into something more appropriate for such occasions, Chairman? Still, I don't think you need to sleep here..."

"There is no need to concern yourself about that Mrs Ji, my Health is in perfect condition, better than I myself desire it to be..."

"Huh…?" What did he just say?

"You haven't told me what can I do for you today..."

"Ah Yes! Chairman, I was just coming to tell you a summary of our activities in the last week as well as some questions I'd like your input in, they're being relayed from the IT and production departments." She hurriedly took out some notes.

"During the last few days, the production department in conjunction with Maple's was able to get all the branding of the previous products belonging to Longyuan to our new label, Hermes. It is expected that the stocks in all major Chinese supermarkets will be updated by the end of next month."

"Mr Gerald mentioned that the first test of our new product 'Le Faux Mort' is ready to be tested and evaluated, he also mentioned something regarding an energy drink that he believes would be a very successful product, however, everything should be discussed with you beforehand."

"CEO Ma's secretary, Mrs Li, mentioned that the CEO is currently having health difficulties due to work overload, he's adamant about continuing with his responsibilities until the new product is launched at least, but most higherups have come to the agreement that the spot as CEO should be taken over temporarily until CEO Ma's health conditions are back to the apex, this decision, however, has been delayed as we require your confirmation, Chairman."

"Chairman?" Seeing that the boss wasn't responsive Mrs Ji lifted her head from her paperwork only to look at the boss in the middle of sipping his wine as he looked outside of the window, his appearance looked ominous and his eyes were lifeless and muffled.

"C-Chairman are you okay?" It was only the second time that Alucard turned around and looked at her directly.

'...'

"Who is going to replace Guanhui's position?" that was his question, Ma Guanhui might not be the best out there, but he was a very competent man, and nobody knows the infrastructure of this company better than he who owned it for so many years; stepping down at this critical junction might just slow down the progress but there was nothing that could be done.

'Alcina...'

'...I'm going to start my own company Master, it will be a branch of the Hellsing Corporation... Sorry, but I can't be Hermes' CEO.' answered his Draculine, still pensive.

'Are you sure?'

'Yes Master, I want to create a company that will help achieve your ambitions.'

'...' He wondered what those ambitions were...
