Thana!

There were three men In black. Two behind and one at the front. the one at the front smirked behind the veil that covered his face, although she couldn't see their faces but their aura spelled one thing.

Danger!!

Marta was struggling to breath..how on earth did they find her.. seems they have been keeping an eye on her. "W-What do you want?" She tried to sound bold, but her body betrayed her as she trembled. "Oh you know what we are here for, don't pretend not to know." the man who spoke earlier she as a slight grin displayed on his face.

Marta knew them...

they are ruthless..

No! She must get far away from them with her family..

"I-i don't know who you're talking about.." She said, but trembled a little. "Tsh.. Celine, I thought you must have changed but it seems you're still as stubborn as you were, then I have no choice but to take thana." he sighed, then sat elegantly on the couch beside him. "My legs are aching me, since I came from a far distance, so I hope you don't mind." he said. She couldn't see the expression on his face since it was covered. but his voice held a scramscram tone. Marta clenched her fist Into tight balls, at the mention of her daughter's name. He even knew her daughter. "H-how did you.."

" it's easy you see, and am sure you're aware we can find whosoever we want to." he said and relaxed his body spreading his arms on the chair. "what happened was between me and you, my family has nothing to do with this.." she pleaded.

She was helpless, and this person is a very dangerous being, she can't provoke him else he would really harm her loved ones, and she can never take that.

"it simple. hand it over or I will kill your daughter.." he tone held finality. Her eyes widened. "No!" She yelled in fear. immediately Lydia and thana rushed in. "Moma, what happened?" thana rushed to her mother's side, and Marta held her tight. she don't trust this man. he can truly kill thana. Lydia stood frozen. She had the same reaction as Marta when she opened the door. "Surprised?" the man's lips curved up a little, and he stood up approaching her. Lydia just stared at him like she was truly frozen, her eyes widened, and her face held different expressions.

"How.." "I survived of course, I can't die easily.." he smirked. Her eyes were watery, as tears threatened to fall. He averted his gaze from her like he didn't want to see something, then an evil smirk was plastered on his face. He stretched his palm in Marta and thana's direction and immediately thana was right before him, in his palm as he strangled her, lifting her from the ground and halted in the air. "thana!" Marta yelled, and lunched at him and something formed in her hand.

A dagger!

Not just any dagger, a poisonous one. he wasn't quick see it, and when he did it was too late she had already stabbed him on his chest close to his heart. he pushed her forcefully with his other hand which was free and fell to the ground with a loud groan. His grip on thana neck tighten causing her to pass out. the two men who came with him rushed to Marta and without hesitation one drew out his sword and slashed her throat. Lydia stood on the same spot shaking her head vehemently, as tears gushed from her eyes.. the man who was stabbed by Marta stood up. he staggered a little and the two rushed to his side. one held him, so he would not fall and the other picked up thana. he raised his head to look at Lydia who was still crying. pleading him not to hurt the girl.. "Please..." Lydia pleaded as she shook her slowly. he approached her slowly and a genuine smile curved on his lips. "I missed you.." he caressed her face gently, and she fell unconscious.

Presently..

"Did you know him?" Ava asked? Lydia was silent for a while before she replied. "he was my husband.." she said and a sad smile tugged on her lips. Ava gasped in surprise. "you're husband?? but.."

"yes he was, and the story is for another time. we must find thana, at least Marta's soul will rest in peace when we find her daughter." Lydia said and turned to look at Marta's body that was laying on the floor.

"Am sorry." Ava whispered, and lowered her head a little. the tears were threatening to fall.. " Sorry for what?" Lydia asked Surprised. "it was my fault. presence here has caused this." Ava said sadly as the tears rolled freely. "Quit blaming yourself already, thana is in trouble.." Lydia hissed in frustration.

He sister just died and her niece has been kidnapped. she really frustrated. Ava knew why she was annoyed, and she couldn't Blame her. now she must focus on finding thana. "do you know where she was taken to?" Ava asked. her eyes filled with determination...

"Take the girl to Lydia's room, and ask the maids to take care of her."

"yes." one of the person who followed him to Marta's house nodded and collected thana from him and left. he then turned to the other man who was holding him. " you two should guard her room, make sure other than the maids no one else enters. " he said. "But my lord... you could have dodged before she got close to you..

i thought you've gotten over her, but it seems am wrong." the man holding him sighed. "go guard her room, if anything should happen to her you both are dead." he hissed and removed his hand forcefully from the other man's grip, but he staggered and the ma rushed to his side. "My Lord, stop talking, else the poison will spread." the man said. "just get out.." he hissed and removed his hand, he staggered a little t but regained his composture and walked away. "haaa... seems we were wrong.." the man sighed then headed to thana's room.
