I am a 35 year old man, and I just want to put it out here before you start reading that not all adults act or are as smart as their age credits them for. For the first time I have based the MC strictly off choices that I, myself would make in his position. I am sorry if my maturity isn't up to snuff, but before becoming a writer, I worked for 15 years in construction. I just wanted to add this little point before you read so you don't have any misconceptions going into this book!}}}

Lilliana's Demands

Lilliana had left the forge after the guards came to fetch her when the moon was high in the air. For most of the time after our initial discussion, she had stayed quiet, other than to say if something was effective or not. The only thing she asked me outside of that was about my armor; something she had heard about from the guards since she had not been on the wall at the time. I had brought it out, and that is when the sea of questions had started.

During the assault, I started to get worried. Lilliana had been asking about every little detail, and I had hardly got anything done after that. Not that I was complaining, but my fears of what I knew had to be coming came to fruition right before the guards arrived.

"Make me armor like this! If I have something like this, I could fight beside you!" She demanded, and I shook my head no, which got me a glare, so I put my hands up.
