The hospital room remained quiet, Alice, Ella and Sarah's eyes were red with unshed tears. Adam's thoughts spiralled; he always just assumed his mother studied so that he could live well. It remained quiet for what felt like a long time. Then a voice was heard, "Do you know a young woman by the name of Sara?" Israel asked. 

Adam was still reeling from his mother's revelation, and the mention of Sara left him puzzled. "Why do you ask?" He was apprehensive. He had visited his old nanny not long after Sara had returned to the military base, Adam had not even thought of Sara when he came to Country F's Military base. 

When he was almost killed by the Jamieson's henchmen, Sara had cursed Alice blaming her for everything. She had even gone as far as to confess her love for him, but he rejected her confession, he did not feel for her the way she did for him. He had explained this to her, he saw her as a sister.
