Chapter 135

Well this is shocking news by all standards but I realised I should not be so shocking to me.

I am also a new face here so I could be considered as a new addition too.

I focus back on the field to see that suddenly, very suddenly the fight has ended.

 The fight has ended and there is a tangible silence.

The crowd is lost in a silence so tangible that no one even dares to interrupt it because even I must admit, i am stunned.

Exactly how did the fight end so quickly. I mean my talk with Arden didn't even take up to eight minutes. I look at the scene in front of me like it is one out on a painting, like something that is unreal.

Suddenly the guy who had been swinging the battle hammer all willy-nilly didn't have his head on his shoulders anymore, his head was rolling casually at one side and a silver-eyed friend, our deadly silver eyed friend simply stood off to one side, a very very sharp looking coil of string in his hand, and a bored look on his face.

I wonder exactly how that is. Evem Arden and Alice are shocked as they look towards me with something like panic in their eyes.

Okay. I get what this could mean, I get what this could mean totally well.

It means that Adrian and Damen and now having even more competition than the pose to each other, they are going to have more competition because this guy, this guy is deadly

"What is he holding?" I ask both of them and Arden nods her head at me still looking at him like he is unreal. It is Alice who is calm enough to give me an answer.

"I've only read of it. I read of it today even, but you see that thing in his hand, that light coil of wire?" She asks and I nod my head.

"Just know it's dangerous".

She's right.

It glints dangerously in the sunlight and I don't think that thing is just for fancy.

"I think that is a weapon all on it's own" she says and quiet literally I agree with her. I agree with that because it seems to thin to me, but how could he have beheaded somebody in in a matter of seconds.

He walks over to the side, waiting for everyone to recover from their shock and the moment they do, a sudden uproar goes out.

I mean I don't even know what happened but all I can feel the shock and awe inhabitants of this place feel.

They feel excited, I feel excited because yet another person has died and I wonder exactly what sort of a threat this guy poses.

My heart is beating in trepidation because someone has fallen, someone has fallen and there's bound to be another fight after this.

I need to find Adrian, I need to avoid this guy at all possible costs.

I don't think I'm ready to lose him just yet.
