It was cloudy and soon it'd start pouring down heavily. 

I had told Caroline that I needed to get back to work but I was settling my ass down in a hotel. I was either going to be proven right today or not. 

In all sincerity, I had gotten a call that Jessie had been arrested and that alone brought joy to my heart. 

She had been into drugs and all other illegal shit which she was planning to drag my ass into as an accomplice or as the mastermind. 

Probably, karma was real at the end of the day. 

Now, Jessie was out of the way, I was left with sorting out shit with Caroline. 

I waited a while at the hotel I was before calling Caroline and when I did, we spoke for a while. 

I had a pile of anger build up in my throat when she mentioned his name and the fact that he was at her place nearly made me swallow my tongue. 

I rushed down to her place and in no time, I was pulling up outside her house.
