In a weird way, Richard makes me feel good and better. In as much as I tried hard to evade such feelings, I couldn't help but feel that way towards him.

I watched him keenly as if this was the first time I was seeing him. The way he was swallowing his spit at regular intervals to keep his throat hydrated. The way he held the steering wheel in a stylish manner that makes him look even sexier. The way the dark circle from whatever causes was spreading from his undereye to his cheekbone which didn't lessen his gorgeous face. The way everything compliments his looks was marveling. 

"Carol?" 

I jerked gently in my seat as I was drawn back from my thoughts, looking over at him. 

"We're here," he added and I looked around only to see that we were back at the hospital. 

"It had been how many hours now?" I aked him and he looked over at his wristwatch before looking back at me. 

"If I get the calculations right, it has been five hours,"
