A week had passed since the day of the incident.

During this time, Reily continued to hunt non-evolved beasts, completing daily missions and collecting many materials, most of which were sold to the Crimson Dragon Emporium.

Old Frim was shocked every time Reily visited him, reaching a point where he began to consider it normal.

He wouldn't have been surprised if Reily had suddenly started selling materials from F-rank beasts out of nowhere.

Reily's earnings during these days were quite good.

With all the animal carcasses he had hunted and then sold after using his skill to dissect them, he managed to save more than half a gold coin.

Not only did his wealth increase, but so did his level.

Thanks to the relentless hunting Reily had been doing every single day, he had reached level 5.

The rewards from the daily missions, although not varying much, helped to greatly accelerate his leveling.

For example, every time he leveled up, almost all his stats increased by "1", with some exceptions, like HP increasing by "10" every level, and charm...

well, as for this stat, Reily wasn't entirely sure.

It wasn't a stat that could be increased with void points or simply by leveling up.

According to what the system had stated, this was a stat that would increase normally as Reily grew.

The only difference was that depending on the level of the bloodline, it would increase more or less.

Reily honestly didn't care much about this stat, as his appearance was already slightly above average.

One of the few things he had learned from novels was that beauty also attracted trouble, especially if one wasn't strong enough.

Seems strange, doesn't it? But it's true.

For example: a rich scion of some prestigious family, with an average or even below-average face, seeing that someone of lower status than him is more beautiful than him, could become jealous, leading to endless pointless conflicts.

Or being overwhelmed by many girls, who, seeing that they were not chosen by him, could lead him to be locked up in some basement of an abandoned house, far away from everyone.

Reily had read of many situations like that, and although the idea of being chased by a crowd of girls tempted him, he didn't want to come to a bad end.

As for the "storage", he managed to increase it to the next level thanks to a special mission, which asked him to hunt 10 different species of non-evolved beasts, ut were close to evolving, in 3 days.

The mission, although it had given three days to complete it, had still been a challenge for Reily, not only because of the strength of these beasts but also because he had to find 10 different types to hunt.

Now his dimensional space had a maximum capacity of 10 cubic meters.

He wondered if at the next level, his dimensional space would increase by 10 times like it did at level 2.

He could only wait and see how it would change in the future.

Today was a big day for him.

After days of hard work and earnings, Reily felt confident enough to take the test to become an adventurer at the Adventurer's Guild.

He stood in front of the dilapidated entrance of the adventurer's guild building.

As usual, he could see many adventurers entering and leaving the building.

He took a deep breath and walked determinedly towards the entrance, successfully passing through it and reaching the reception, which had a different attendant than last time.

At the reception was a brunette girl who, with a smile, continued to assist the adventurers who lined up.

Reily went to the end of the line and patiently waited for his turn.

After a few minutes, it was finally his turn.

The receptionist welcomed him with a smile and said:

"Hello, how can I help you?"

"Good morning, I would like to take the test to join the guild," Reily said as he took out a bag of coins and placed it on the counter.

The receptionist nodded, taking the bag and checking how many coins were inside.

Once she confirmed the value of the coins in the bag, she put it away and turned her gaze to Reily, saying:

"Alright, before taking the test, please fill out this form with your personal information."

She took a form from the row of documents behind her and handed it to Reily.

"These will also be the details that will be recorded on your adventurer's card, so make sure to fill it out correctly,"

"Once done, bring it back to me, and I'll assign you a spot on today's test candidate list."

Saying this, she sent Reily to the appropriate corner to fill it out.

It didn't take Reily long to fill it out. Apart from his name, age, and other small pieces of information, he didn't have much to sign, as he was an orphan.

Once done, he went back to the receptionist, who gave him a tag with the number '13' above it and sent him to the testing area.

The test area was a small arena in the open field, where an instructor would fight and evaluate the examinee.

Reily was thirteenth on the list, so he had to wait a bit for his turn. As he waited, he looked at the line of people in front of him.

There were people of all kinds and ages, but most of them were as young as Reily.

This was quite normal, as it was around this age that most people decided to become adventurers.

Reily patiently waited in line and avoided joining the conversations among the examinees that were happening.

Gradually, the line began to grow as more and more people joined it.

After almost 3 hours of waiting, it was finally his turn.

"Well, it's time to take the first step towards the life I desire."

And with that, he walked and climbed onto the small arena.
