A promise (17)

After a while of having fun in Haruko's garden I left and went back to where I live. It took me a while to get home but it was cold and I didn't mind since the cold was something I loved. As i got home i saw my father and 2 brothers back from the vacation they went to.

Oh? You guys are back.. I spoke while looking at them with an awkward smile, as my father turned to me with a blank look. “Where were you?” He spoke to me strictly. I was hanging out with a friend, no big deal dad.. “Hm ok, go upstairs now I'll give you something later.” I nodded to my dad as I went upstairs to my room in silence.

As i got into my room i was a bit disappointed the way my father looked at me while wishing maybe he could've looked at me the way he looks at my brothers.. It makes me feel jealous towards other younger members of the family who get what they want unlike me.. I thought while breathing heavily.
